But basically yeah I have no faith in how much we try to sell our players for.
Considering that Grealish has a long history of making anti Man City posts on social media and he has now deleted all those posts (but not before they've all been screengrabbed lol) , I'm guessing thats a good sign that he's erasing his anti-city past in readiness for joining them. So I expect the deal to happen.

Grealish has gotten 30 odd goals in 200 ish appearances. some in the championship. If you include the Westham stint Lingard has 40 odd goals in 200 ish appearances. Plus Lingard has scored goals in big games. 2015 FA cup final etc. He also had a fantastic world cup in 2018.
He is actually a pretty decent player in that false 9 position and creates a lot of space for other players similar to Grealish. He actually has a chance now with Rashford being out so we might see a little resurrection of Lingard.

No doubt he is a good player but 100 million is just bonkers.
Bruno Fernandes cost what 60 million and is a different level to Grealish.
The Barkley ITK from last year has said he's supposedly signing a new deal. He isn't putting much stock into his own words either but I've gone from no hope to a sliver of hope. He also said Bailey was a definite, we were back in for JWP hours before news of the 25m bid came out and we're pushing for Cantwell too, before the rumours resurfaced again.
