Thanks. I would've hoped to say he's got a fight on his hands for a starting place, but given how shocking our defence has been for the first couple of games, fingers crosed he can make an instant impact, hope he's up for a challenge (pun intended)

Gibson and Hanley, is that your PL CB partnership? If so that is pretty remarkable regardless of if they did well in the Champ.

Correct, still is, Gibson should be ok, Hanley....less so.
We're after Ajer, but decided not to add the extra £2.5m to match Brentford, our fans were split on him anyhow, it's interesting to see how he gets on over the course of the season.
Behind them we've got Zimmerframeman & 19 year old Omobamidele.
CB is a position we always seem to have issues recruiting in, both at the correct time of season and with quality required.

Fully understand being disappointed as they haven't strengthened well at all, given the amount spent. However I had to point out that Ramsdale is absolutely not worse than leno. He's being judged on his first 10 games with us, rather than the rest where he kept us in most games.
 
I'm judging Leno a couple of seasons though - it's possible I could underrate Ramsdale, but it's also possible others could underrate Leno, who was our best player season before last.
In other words, if we had a crap keeper then I wouldn't mind buying Ramsdale. £24-30m would make sense for a first choice keeper. But we have a good keeper, so it's a waste of money.
 
I’d hope PSG would move heaven and earth to make that happen!

Even if it didn’t work at all it’s like the ultimate ‘what if’ question in football for the last 15 years and this is probably the last chance it could possibly happen. Would get PSG crazy publicity.
