It might have been fake but there were images of a message he sent after he scored against Everton last season absolutely slating them, presumably he's a Liverpool fan!
Yep, came through our academy. Carragher stitched him up during a live Sky interview the other season pretending Klopp name checked him as a VVD replacement after his injury.
If the deal goes through he'll be Everton's new scapegoat.

I mentioned previously that Utd shouldn't just sign 2nd rate alternatives if their main targets aren't available however I accept that maybe they're so short in certain areas (and not just Martinez at cb) that maybe they have to but surely they can find alternatives that don't have a massive ego and cause trouble wherever they go?

I think so. Carragher knows him well from when Coady was coming through at Liverpool and winds him up all the time. There was another interview where he tricked him into believing Wolves had just signed another CB.
It looks like Ten Hag wants to find out if it's possible.Can it be any worse than the current crop?
