That's what I was thinking. He's huge, but then also really quick and "bursty". Of course he's going to get muscle injuries, not that it should bother Man City - 40 games a season is plenty enough for him to score plenty if he fits in.It's a ridiculous comparison. Mane's missed the same amount of games in 6 seasons as Haaland has in 3. That said, it's not surprising that Haaland has had the number of injuries as he has due to his sheer size.
Didn't his Dad have dodgy knees and it wasn't actually Keane's tackle that really ended his career?

He moved halfway through his 1st season for Dortmund, played 16 for rbs40 games a season? 15, 28 and 23 league games in his last 3 seasons. We are talking Bundesliga here as well.
Bit of an odd comparison. In 20/21 and 21/22 Haaland has had 6 musculoskeletal injuries, and Mane has had none.
Edit: Jury's out on him in my book. The best people to know how worthwhile the risk is at this stage are City - they'll have given him rigorous medicals and decided he's worth whatever risk is there.
Its not about playing 50 or 60 games a season, Smith Rowe hasn't always started in the league, he's come off the bench quite a few times. But the difference to getting game time at weekends and then having a European game during the week is huge compared to being able to manage an injury prone player once a week.
Frenkie De Jong to United for 80 mill as ETH talisman and focus of the rebuild? (Rumour btw)
Tbh I'd like him to stay at Brentford for another season at least. He's been fantastic for them, really added to their team and brought some control to their midfield. Will be interesting to see what happens with Eriksen. Hes still a very good player that could go to a better team but who knows. He might just want a bit of an easier life and is happier to take a lower salary as a result.
Does he have a release clause?Tbh I'd like him to stay at Brentford for another season at least. He's been fantastic for them, really added to their team and brought some control to their midfield.
No, he only signed a 6 month contract when he joined in January. Hoping he signs up for another 2-3 years. I imagine the club are putting on a massive charm offensive to persuade him to stay.Does he have a release clause?
I read on the BBC Newcastle are chasing Coutinho. Can anyone see that happening? IIRC he only went to Villa because of Gerrard. Will that be enough to keep him there?
They also seem to be talking of Tielemens to Arsenal as if it's practically a done deal. Seems a bit premature, but it does sound like Leicester will be forced to sell him which will leave a big hole in the side.
