Summer Transfer Window 22/23

Garner may get his chance, ETH gave something like 24 debuts to youngsters at Ajax.

I know it's a different situation, but maybe he's just waiting for Mctom to show him he's defo not the answer. The game against Brighton really showed he isn't.

Championship is a different level but on more than one occasion Garner was amongst the best players on the park, especially when Forest demolished prem opposition in the cup last year.

Now the 7 year old story of milinkovic-savic is re emerging for UTd. LOL 68 million as well. Talk about over priced.

Now that United lost their first game and the.media are painting the desperation story, every club linked with selling a player to them are licking their lips.

He’s a great player. I wouldn’t mind signing him.

Good. Didn’t make much sense in many ways.

I would suggest that perhaps it was a complete load of ******** in the first place. The club aren't going to have waiting until we win or lose the first game and then start trying to sign every cheap-ish ex-premier league striker. Our main issues weren't even with our finishing in the Brighton game.

See above. Either United have somehow managed to get about 5x worse managed in the past few months or the media are just playing people for idiots because people swallow every little tidbit hook, line and sinker.

United are still the best club to write about by miles because the United fans get grumpy and the fans of every other club laugh at it and read it because they love watching United suffer.

There were god knows how many people just from this forum who don't support United watching our first match and I don't think anyone was watching the City game from what I saw. Despite how **** we have become, people still hang off every word about United.

They used to watch them for how good they were, but the past football and running of the club is a million miles from today.

They are really good to write about these days because they are a disaster, it's easy pickings for media because of the losses, the fall from grace and the circus that is their transfer dealings. You are exactly right.

Here's a classic example of why 99% of stories about United are complete BS.

Wonder why we are linked with Sarr...

Its at the point now where the media are quite literally taking the ****. Its like they have got together and made a bet to see who can get people to believe the most ridiculous story. I wouldn't be surprised to see us linked with Cavani before the window is out. Its got that silly.

While many stories are nonsense, the Arnautovic thing was reported by all the 'proper' sources. And it actually came out before the game against Brighton had started.

A few more positive links are emerging. Milinkovic-Savic would be a great addition to midfield, and Gakpo looks a good player who can improve further.

Hey, so when we said we'd pay you 69 gazillion pounds we broke the law, so we don't actually have to pay you, soz about that.

Its another strange twist. Doesn't seem to have gained a lot of traction though. Some are saying that if thats the case he is basically a free agent and others are saying that it means he is owed the deferred wages but reverts to his previous contract. Who knows. Should all come out eventually. I'm sure it will be quite the ride.

Barca truly are the club that keeps on giving.

I still find the Arnautovic thing bizarre. They won't be doing their transfer dealing based on fan reaction.

SMS has been linked to us for years. Never really looked into him and if he was as good as some suggested I find it a bit strange he has never gone to a bigger club.

Damsgaard hopefully being announced as a Brentford signing today!

All we need now is Mudryk to sign on deadline day and we'll be finishing in the European spots! ;)

Barcelona are desperate because they need this deal to happen. I think Chelsea will just be prepared to spend whatever and do not really care.

As much as he would be a fantastic addition we should be prepared to walk away.

I really hope FDJ takes Barca to the cleaners and they have all these players they are unable to register.
