Summer Transfer Window 22/23

This is what happens when there's no strategy, poor financially decision making and panic buying.

Then we end up with overpaid players who we can't shift.

There's just something wrong to to bottom and even scouting wise.

Whys Elanga not worth 80m? EPL proven!

He's good enough to play for us, so surely other clubs would be falling over themselves to buy him right?

We bought Pellestri for 10m a guy who scored 2 goals in 37 games. And since then has scored 0 in 35 games in like the Spanish second division.

Yet a play like Alvarez who city signed for like 15m scored 55 in 125 games.

Surely that's worth a punt? Given we needed a striker... but no.

Last time I reported that from sky sports I got told sky sports are not great and they are an echo chamber, wouldn't read much into it tbh.

Sky Sports don’t have many good sources, they’re mainly just an aggregator.

However, reliable sources are also reporting it, The Athletic etc.

An £80m~ bid is going in shortly…

80m for Antony, wowzers. That's totally ridiculous. Then again so is every other fee going around this season, 80m fofana, 80m Antony, 60m Gordon. Wtf is going on!

Yeah, it's certainly a lot. He looks a very exciting player but will have to really deliver for ETH. They seem to have a great relationship so that's the driving force behind things...

Can't keep track of Newcastle, West Ham, Nottingham Forest and even Everton have signed a quite a few?

Crazy window and this excludes the obvious big hitters.

Newcastle have only signed 3, the problem is with our new owners we're linked to tonnes. Especially on twitter where it makes for easy clicks.
