Summer Transfer Window 22/23

No one said 100% are but 99% are.
All you are doing is making assumptions based on a few players, it would be no different to me or anyone else here lumping all man u fans into the same category as the likes of that buffoon Andy Tate, or the guy that ripped off his fellow supporters, Stephen Howson.

Assumptions based upon similar profiles of people, I.e young men who likely grew up in the favellas or playing steet football in brasil suddenly handed millions of pounds and you're surprised many of them are living a playboy lifestyle in Europe?

Let's consider the situation first.

Lol, you've taken a handful of Brazilians that partied over the past 25 years and lumped all Brazilians as party animals, there's more Brazilians playing in the premier League this season alone that aren't.

Still can't believe there were people on this forum insisting that Pepe was "amazing business", and I don't mean "can't believe" in terms of a difference of opinion about a player, I mean I was and still remain incredulous that £72m was considered a bargain for a player relatively unproven in the top leagues. Even if he was a LOT better than he has been, I still wouldn't have said it was amazing business, it would be average business to spend a fortune and have a great player.

He's got one year left when he comes back from loan but it wouldn't surprise me if he ends up being released/sold for £0, which if Arteta is still around would mean the same manager will have overseen the departure of the four all-time biggest signings in the club's history for a combined total of £0. Can't think of any any other manager at any club where that's happened.

Yet he was more proven than Antony and cost less.

That's the risk you take.

The one big positive with Antony is that ETH has worked with him for 2 years and knows him very well. Without that I'd say £80m~ is too much to risk on an Eredivisie winger. ETH clearly must think he can reach the top.

That aside, we do need to get some more business done in these next few days.

I mentioned last night, he brought it up in his press-conference yesterday too. It's not really news that we want a midfielder given that we tried to sign Tchouameni but for Klopp to go on the record makes me think something is going to happen. As I said in the transfer thread, I think something has changed with Keita and that's made the issue a bit more pressing.
Yeah I read a few rumours over the past couple of weeks that there are 3 Bundesliga teams interested in him and that supposedly he's said he isnt happy with the amount of gametime he is getting (should damn well play better then, instead of being so hit and miss) , you're definitely right though, these last two interviews from Klopp does sound like theres something in the mill. Could be a last minute transfer deadline deal to make watching Skys transfer deadline program worth watching for a change

Who though as the only link ive seen is FDJ and i cant see that happening.
No idea...we've been linked a couple of times with Caicedo but I dont see that happening either, something tells me that if it happens it might be someone right out of leftfield that we've not even considered. Despite the claims of laziness, I'd still be very much up for the idea of dumping what is it...16m now? for Tielemans

I wouldn't get too excited guys. We'll probably sign somebody from Austria for £5m.
Still can't believe there were people on this forum insisting that Pepe was "amazing business", ....
The same person said Lukaku was great business also so you should take their transfer predictions with a pinch of salt.

A few Dutch sources are saying the Antony deal is done. One mentions €99m.

I want him so it’s good news, seriously risky but ETH knows him well.
