He will be 23 in a few months. Its not like we are buying some 18 year old kid.

If Man Utd finish with a CL spot this year, playing as a team, then he will have contributed to it. No matter how many goals or assists he does.

I think you'll need to do a bit better than that. We could get a CL spot bring Elanga on every game to 'contribut' but I wouldn't pay 99m for elanga.

But seriously id expect a play of that price in the position he'll be playing to contribute 20 g/a in the league.

Because we're owned by owners that are incompetent. They clearly didn't want to buy more than a few players this summer and released more money after we lost the first few games. We'll never win until we're rid of them.
