Summer Transfer Window 22/23

If he does end up being decent for Liverpool and they manage to get Mane offloaded for a decent fee then that puts Klopp and step above Guardiola as he will be slowly starting show that he has the ability to rebuild a championship winning team whilst still maintaining it at the top. Will be a interesting next few years to see how he gets on.

Wonder if any bookie will take a bet for Nunez to score more league goals than Haaland?

Of course they will. Thats a bread and butter bet.

Still not convinced that Nunez looks worth that sort of money but Liverpool are generally shrewd in the market so unfortunately he will probably come good. Will be interesting to see how their game changes with a proper 9 up to as I'm not convinced that really works with Salah so well.

I mean, fingers crossed Haaland is rubbish and Nunez is a dud but I fear both will end up tearing up the league.

Nunez will play most games, if the Haaland gets rotated as much as Grealish has or the rest of the City squad it could mean he plays 10 more games and hundreds more minutes.

It's pretty easy, pronounced as Horland.

Anyway, meanwhile at Man Utd... *tumbleweed*

I've seen loads of united fans stressing out this morning, have I missed something? It's the second day of the window isn't it?

I saw FDJ interview yesterday leads me to believe he's on his way. I think as long as the money is right for Barca he's off!

Yeah, we're all traumatised from previous years though. I hope this is a sign things are going to be done quietly and efficiently, but we'll see!

Is anyone really expecting United to buy the correct players in accordance with a plan and early in the window, for a sensible price? What in recent history (regarding new players) suggests this will be the case?

Also, don't forget that players seem to decline when they join United. I'd say we need to be prepared for things to get worse before they get better. Anything else is a bonus.

We also need to stop comparing United to the well run teams.
