Summer Transfer Window 22/23

Cannavaro was a similar height and one of the best defenders Italy have produced. Captain for Italy's world cup win and one of only 3 defenders to win the Ballon d'Or. You know the one VVD came third in.

Arsenal were in for him as well so there must be something to him. That's two players that have been poached from captain black now.
2?

What use is title winning experience to Arsenal :p

I think this could be a really good season in the PL if United can get FdJ. All the top 6 have made some good additions and should in theory have good seasons. Could be very competitive outside of City IMO.
About as much use as it is to Utd.

I agree though, this season is shaping up nicely, lots of interesting moves this summer. Top 6 all look considerably stronger than last year. Top 4 race could be a belter. Thought Newcastle could get involved, but I’m a bit underwhelmed with their business tbh. Thought theyd be splashing the cash more than they have. I think the top 6 are gonna pull away even further this year.

They can't. So legally he can just sit there and they have to pay him. That's his current stance - but they're trying to force him out.

He voluntarily deferred his wages (presumably all checked by his agent/legal team) due to COVID and Barca struggling. Not sure of the details of that.

I think he'd be prepared to leave if they pay him the £17m.
Might be a silly question, but can’t he instruct his lawyers to start court proceedings over the debt?
