All or nothing this season should have been Utd. Would have been TV gold of the highest order
FTFYLooks like Rabiot is off thankfully, his mum wanted too much money.
It’s like your managed by Arsene Wenger. That was his usual excuse.Jeez. They’ve probably done it on purpose… “we tried!”
If the worst happens and they get relegated they get parachute payments anyway don’t they?I'm not sure the total Forest have paid out this summer but from an expenses point of view on their profit & loss account, whatever those fees is divided by the length of the players contracts. So if they've spent £150m and on average given all those players 5 year contracts, those transfer fees only cost Forest £30m per year (£150m/5 years) from an accounting point of view.
Forest spending big for a single season isn't an issue, however it will restrict what they can spend moving forwards because that £30m per year example is there next year and the year after too so if they spent another £150m next year, that running total is now £60m per year and so on.
The only 2 I can really remember being a success were Zola and Di Canio, and maybe Ravanelli80 million bid rejected. What on earth is going on lmao. Now PSV know they bid that for him they'll want similar for Gakpo.
They seem to have come into this window with a De Jong at all costs mentality. What an absolute mess.
Does he want to come to England? Doesnt look like it if he's waiting on Roma. Italian players rarely leave Italy and if they do they are rarely a success.
Just because a lads out of contract it isnt a given that he will join United.
Gakpo still possibly an option but would need to be wrapped up quick as PSV won’t even think about it until after their second leg against Rangers. Not much time for offers and counter offers and the usual sagas.Financially responsible =/= Manchester United
We’ve thrown always hundreds of millions on complete dross. Casemiro may be a shorter term plan, but he’s a quality player.
You’re never happy though are you so what’s the point. Who would you sign in midfield?
I think I’d prefer Gakpo…
Utd’s a challenge and half. Like going from a PE class to SAS training!Ancelotti confirmed that Casemiro has decided to leave for a new challenge.
I didn’t have doubts with Jesus? When your main strikers have been Laca and Nketiah, you can be damn sure Jesus will be a massive upgrade. I did have major doubts over Tavares and was proved right in doing so. I also have doubts about this Vieira chap, he looks like a stiff breeze could knock him over.Aren't we all like that with signings tho? I have massive doubts over Darwin yet Im hopeful he turns out decent - posted this about him back in April for example.
