Oh and as for CR7 yes he might not be in Bayerns ethos but if Lewa leaves... the quest to win the CL might overtake the ethos.

And I'm sure PSG must be salivating at a 2 year cr7 contract to try and win the CL too...

Who else they got up top? Grealish, Foden, Haaland, Palmer, Mahrez and Alvarez. maybe they might be a bit short, Halland bound to pick up some niggles in the season.

Grealish has been a let down, Foden is excellent, Haaland is an unknown at present, as is Palmer and Alvarez. Mahrez is excellent but Pep seems to play him from the start sporadically. If anything it’s KDB who is their main threat. I’m just a bit unsure about them this season.

Agreed. Haaland is going to be great, the only potential spanner in the works is an injury.

I reckon Grealish will do better this season too

Both have questionable attitudes and Dembele is horribly injury prone. Both would want a large salary. Dembele is on silly money at Barca.

Theres a lot of talented players available on frees this summer but a lot of them also have massive red flags against them for various reasons.

We could easily bring in Dybala he's a really talented player.

Sure he wouldn't be cheap on wages but he's very talented. And we don't have a left footer really...

Forget FDJ and Antony let's not get held to ransom. We do need a CDM but we have enough wingers in our squad unless we are admitting that all of our wingers we bought in the last 3-4 years are trash, Sancho, Pellistri, Amad, that's 120m of players right there. Plus we have rashford, Martial, all vying for 2 places...

Dybala is a very good player, but there's a reason he's a free agent at age 28. Would be a risky signing and far from a guarantee of success.

Ousmane Dembele is an even bigger gamble, he would want a huge contract, has attitude problems and gets injured every other week.

Dembele didn't play a game for Barca until late November but thought 1 goal and 2 assists was worthy of a 700k a week contract extension by January.

He's the sort of player you actually want to join your rivals
