Summer Transfer Window 23/24

Kane to RMA...they've been linked to him over past few weeks. Although I don't want him to leave us but he would be good at RMA, score loads, win some trophies return to spurs at 33 and break the prem record. It would be criminal to let him run his contract down and leave on a free next year when we could use any money from Harry to build our current squad.

Son on the way out too?

If Son and Kane left Spurs they wouldn't even be mid-table.
I honestly think they'd be hovering above the relegation zone. Never has a club been carried by two players only for such a long time. Moura was decent in spells, as is Kulusevski, again in spells but those two have that team on their backs and have done for 3-4 seasons. To replace Kane Spurs will be having to spend £100m. Which I doubt they will ever do. Levy would have a Heart Attack.

A lot of noise around the Kane to RM this morning. Brnzema.and Modric off the SA, Ascencio off the PSG and Hazard released early that's a massive amount off their weekly wage.

 They spent that on a couple of players last season, if Kane is to go to RM, they’ll be looking at 80 to 100mill anyway

Lol the people in here all of a sudden having Kanes interests at heart now Madrid are linked.
:D I know right! some of the comments have been pretty amusing -It's pretty clear Spurs are going to have a rebuild, with or without Kane - relegation chat is absolute nonsense at this stage, yes of course if they lose x, y, z they would be in a desperate state, but all clubs have to move on and it's not exactly like Spurs haven't been graced with decent players in the past, and they will in the future.

I listened to the talk sport interview with Klinsmaan the other night driving home, on his career and clubs he played for. Why he left Spurs after one year as it was clear to him they wouldn't put the required in to build a squad to win things. Quite a good interview when you realise how long they have kept on doing the same thing. Then again it's not a competitive league and like I used to say about Arsenal, you could see why they were happy to keep finishing in the top 4 and not spend the ridiculous amount of money to push to the next level.

Paul Joyce confirming all the reports coming out of Argentina that Mac Allister should complete his move to Liverpool this week. Varying reports on the fee with anything from £40m to £60m being claimed - given his contract situation prior to the World Cup, you'd imagine the clause in his deal is towards the bottom end of that range.

He reminds me a lot of Wijnaldum in terms of his skill set. While he may not excel in any one area, he's very good in pretty much every area - he gets about the pitch doing his defensive work, really comfortable in possession and he gets forward and chips in with a few goals. Given the amount of work we need to do in midfield, having somebody that can play pretty much every midfield role in any system we play is a massive bonus.

Joyce also mentions that we're following Thuram in his article and links with Kone don't appear to be getting shut down by any of the Liverpool journo's either. Who knows whether anything comes from either link but given the names we're reportedly in for, it looks like we want to bring in some serious power in midfield and players that can carry the ball which I'm well on board with.

When Leicester won the league and in early pep years Spurs were close to the best in the league but they went for the shiny stadium rather than win the league.

They have done literally nothing in terms of proper squad development for about 5 years now.
