Summer Transfer Window 23/24

Never saw that coming. Hopefully no injuries and will be good for the league.
Read an article on The athletic (Thought I’d try their £1 per month for 12 months offer, seems OK so far) about him. He’s been blighted by knee injuries and has had four operations on the same knee already. Some of the issues appear to be due to Barca doctors overruling the advice of his knee surgeon and pushing him too hard to return too quickly and then breaking down and requiring more surgery again. I hope he recovers some form and confidence.

Everton have sold Iwobi (how is he still only 27?) and now loaned Maupay. They’re doomed.

This is positive news provided a replacement for Iwobi is signed (Gnonto and Sulemana being the two most heavily linked).

Maupay was a ghost and was the 4th choice striker. Iwobi wasn't exactly delivering either despite a brief 2-3 month period under Lampard where he turned into Iwobinho

He played 51 games last year but with Lewandowski in the team it changed things up for Barca.
