I think thats the problem, wherever he goes he ain't getting close to what United paid him and probably not close to what United were offering him on the new "significantly worse" contract. Hes a very good keeper but not for any team that wants to play a modern style of football that requires a keeper who can pass or deal with pressure. That probably rules him out of the top 6 in the PL and no one else will pay him more than £100k/week if that.
Just brings home how insane having a limited GK on nearly £400k/week was.
