I think thats the problem, wherever he goes he ain't getting close to what United paid him and probably not close to what United were offering him on the new "significantly worse" contract. Hes a very good keeper but not for any team that wants to play a modern style of football that requires a keeper who can pass or deal with pressure. That probably rules him out of the top 6 in the PL and no one else will pay him more than £100k/week if that.

Just brings home how insane having a limited GK on nearly £400k/week was.

If we buy Pickford that would be the final straw. Overrated keeper who is a mouthy ****. Cannot stand him. Wouldn't be much of an upgrade on DDG either.

Way too early to worry about transfers. I do think there's a danger the takeover situation may affect things though, so we'll end up with a couple of decent signings and that's about it.

He enough of an upgrade and half of the price. Who cares if he's mouthy, he kept Everton up twice with his shot stopping and if the outfield cack could score from 12 yards 1v1 he would have won England the European Championship too. People are too hung up on the personality rather than his ability and nit pick the small stuff and ignore others doing worse.

We have but we didn’t screw up as bad as Liverpool last season. We finished above them by 2 places :cry:
