Summer Transfer Window 23/24

Its quite nuts, gets accused of rape by his girlfriend, it gets dropped then gets her pregnant and planning to get married. Mental.
Greenwood breached his bail conditions nearly 30 times by contacting her, trying to get her to drop the charges. Not once was he remanded into custody or brought before a judge or hearing. It’s reckoned many of the investigating officers were also United fans too. Her Dad was in her ear as well. Of course he’s also a United fan and was likely getting free tickets thrown at his feet and was also trying to convince her to take him back, lest his gravy train stop flowing. It’s disgusting really, but when she refused to cooperate with the investigation any further the CPS had no choice but to drop the charges.

A Leopard never changes its spots and I really fear for her safety at times. I’m disgusted by her family’s attitude too, all swept up in his stardom and money and tickets to games.

Aye the poor girls father sold her right into hell

Thats the thing. We, the general public don't know jack about it. All we have are a few pictures, a voice recording. there is certainly more to this than what we know. Wasn't it her friend who released the images from her phone? Pretty sure I read about that.
If any of that was remotely true it would all have been cleared up quickly and he'd be playing again. Or she would have come out publicly. Anyone would rather come out as a bit of consensual kinkiness than a ****ing rapist or woman beater.
I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but for the fee I just don't see it, watched him at Everton, for England U21 and for us, I just don't see it.
You won't ever see it. He's ****. Over rated ****. I didn't see anything to value him above 20m at Everton.

That's the thing. He can cover a quite a few positions. High work rate, I didn't mind what I seen so far apart from getting gassed in around 45mins. If hes doesn't development into the clubs perceived potential. Then there's still a 20-25million quid player. Cash in and we move on.

I believe in the club ability to get value in the transfer. After all we did with Wood

Greenwood is most likely a better player than that Hojlund though.

There's no way would Utd play him again, whether they would sell him is a tricky one, I would think most likely scenario is his contract just runs down and he doesn't get offered a new one

After that I doubt any team in the UK would sink low enough to employ him is unlikely so his options would prob be abroad

I think you're probably wrong in both cases personally. Chelsea employed Alonso who killed someone, for years. Madrid employed Benzema who was guilty of blackmail. Arsenal have Partey etc

Either United or another club will play him, they'll do some PR campaign of how it was all a big misunderstanding, look he's a happily married father. Once the first goal goes in 95%+ of fans will forget about it and they don't care about the other five.

He's still got essentially 3 years left on his contract hasn't he? no way that happens, they'll hope football fans do their usual and just forget about. Why would they care what opposition fans think?

Manu seem to be getting their ducks in order and seem to be doing some sensible transfer business. Why would they throw gas onto it? Plan seems to be loan him out and hope offers start coming in.
