Not too bad a day here today but getting overcast now and rain overnight

Having a little walk over the farmers field and its started raining now. At least it's cool
I really don't mind that summer is a washout this year with everything else that's going on in my life right now.

Its been nice'ish today in the North West, But being in hospitality in a seaside town and not having a season yet we're going to have to make redundancies to get us through to the end of the "summer" absolutely gutted but there just isn't the footfall.

And the rain from the South has arrived overnight. 12c Garden that was drying out now Saturated. Weather app says 4-6 mm per hour till 1100 then drops to 1mm per hour till 1300. Absolutely tosh. Need milk from the shop for Coffee. And I'm gonna do the mile int car.

Cool at 14c and steady rain here until mid-afternoon. Not a t-shirt and shorts day like yesterday.

Definitely, it's been really, really poor, I certainly can't remember a worse Summer. We've literally had 2 or 3 days where it's got to high 20s and that's about it. The worrying thing is even the long-range models aren't picking any better weather up.

30c today, 35c tomorrow then 28ish for the next week. Glad we got the pool out, this is rough
