Outlook for Summer start. More of the same. But when that sun pops it's hella warm.

There is little sign for any one type of weather pattern to dominate during this period. As such, typical conditions for the UK are most probable with a mixture of weather types. All areas can expected to see some spells of drier, sunnier weather, but there will also be showers or longer spells of rain at times. Currently the only signals, weak as they are, hint that rain and showers will tend to be more biased towards the north and west, with any more prolonged drier interludes favouring the south. Temperatures are most likely to be close to or slightly above climatological average.

MIL had the heating on while we were there earlier, I was in shorts and t-shirt and still am now we're home...

Not long shut the windows, apparently 12C feels like 9C outside, 20C in lounge that hasn't had heating on for ~2+ months.

Wish we didn't have the light rain, managed a whole 5mins cycling outside before I needed to get ready to go to MIL's.

Showers expected for most of the next week.

I've been using a small electric heated pad in bed for a couple of weeks, but not because I'm cold, but because the heat seems to help my lower back muscles heal when they go "ping!"
