Superdry - how warm are their coats??

I dunno what kind of reputation they have generally but I've found Urban Classics a good balance of value and quality (long lasting/warm/waterproof) for money - not cheap though - but don't have the markup of North Face or the pricing of brands like Canada Goose. (Obviously not going to be using them for stuff where you actually need the technical abilities of the top end gear).

Nice ^^

I saw one of these in TK Maxx a few weeks back for £60 and I didn't buy it :(

Pullover rather than a zipup though = mess up your hair

Perhaps what the OP needs is... a technical jacket.

I had to look that up. Technical jackets look a bit functional :p

Cool, thanks for the heads up. I'll take a look, although their website is relatively useless.

Another options if its just the cold your worried about is something like the M65 surplus jackets (the ones that actually have the thermal inlay/quilted lining not all do) very few jackets will keep you warmer outside of the top end technical stuff but they aren't always the best in really wet weather.

M65's are pretty warm as I have one I use on winter rough shooting days. Though for work, the best jacket I've got is a waterproof fleece lined one given to me by a Guinness sales rep in the pub one evening. Not too heavy/constrictive which is a bonus in my job when working at height.
