The most I saw was when it was half eclipsed then the clouds came in again. I didn't think the moon was any bigger than usual though. I have seen it much bigger than that before.

We are all still here too so all the internet doomsayers were wrong as usual!!

I got up at about half 3 and had a quick look. It was freezing!! But managed to get a good look at it. I should have been a bit more organised and sorted the binos or telescope out.

Mine was a really basic set-up. I had my Cannon 600d with a Sigma 18-200mm lens on a cheap cheap rainforrest tripod.

You have a real skill there Cosi and I was expecting you to say a 600mm+ lens. Mind you, not as good as Cainers S3
