Supplements the debate/discussion thread

based on EVERY other products i have tried. (PERSONAL opinion) as i know you lot love MP here but each to their own.

We talking taste, your gains....value for money?

Dont feel you need to justify it or anything. Far too many people post inflated opinions because they feel like they have to prove something or justify a purchase.

You clearly impressed with it and im interested in why, even if it just boils down to it tastes nice and mixes well.

I have always used MP stuff myself...would not mind paying a little more if there was some added value. Especially as MPs prices have been going up.

I'm not convinced that having myofusion would yield different results than just normal whey unless someone is at the top of the their game in terms of diet/training.

i buy it primarily for the taste, then of course it is a high quality product.

if i had the money i would go for XF, the taste of their products is meant to be amazing, also the quality second to none.

so i take taste and quality into account, both of them have to fit my needs.

Fully agree, but Myofusion taste just devine and I actually look forward to my protein shake instead of dreading it like like I usually did. Mind you, Raspberry flavour from MP is just lovely too.

Using a tub right now actually. Got it from a bloke at work that used it once and gave up the gym. Charged me a tenner for it.

It's the chocolate flavour and the taste is just .... WoW. Taste nicer than any chocolate milkshake I ever had. Really can drink this all day.

IMO, when it comes to taste.

1.XF (But only tried the chocolate)
2.CNP (had chocolate)
3.Myofusion (ChocPeanut, Strawberry, Banana)

damn im jelly, wish i had mates like that

£10 is nothing for a tub of XF especially if he only used it once.

i will buy some tubs in the future, just cant justify the price of them at the moment as they are very pricey.

I was a non believer in paying extra for fancy brands, but Ive recently realised Im far more likely to stick to regular shakes if they taste nice. And they dont actually demand THAT great of a premium over current MP prices.

£40 a tub is pretty insane! not far off the price of myofusion though...

myofusion is like £32 when buying 4 tubs

its the 900g tubs which are insanely priced

http://www.powerbody.co.uk/search/xtreme-formulations

cinnamon roll is supposed to be amazing, so is lemon cream pie, etc.

the 2.2kg tubs are whey, its the 900g tubs which are supposed to be the best protein on the planet.

£27 for 910g for £5 more you get 2.2kg of myofusion

some more info on XF

Taking Sustained Release Protein Supplementation To The Next Level!

We started with a concept.

How could we make the best protein supplement in the industry even better? Xtreme Formulations is already the first and only company to our knowledge to not only disclose our proprietary casein to whey protein ratios in our already famous Ultra Peptide, Xtreme Formulations is also the only company to our knowledge to include over 50% of the protein in Ultra Peptide from
micellar casein (another industry first). We wanted to create an all inclusive meal, a super protein if you will, specifically targeting the acquisition of lean muscle tissue!

While we refuse to stray from our already proven and disclosed 51/49 ratio of pure undenatured low temperature processed micellar casein to ceramic microfiltered whey isolate for the protein component, we've decided to include several other anabolic goodies to create the ultimate super gainer! No compromises, all business!

Designer EFA's to the Rescue!

For several years we've wanted to include essential fatty acids (EFA's) in our protein powder. They're great for overall health, and very anabolic to boot. So what's not to like? Well you've heard the good, now's time for the downright ugly. Shelf stability is a MAJOR issue. In other words, if the EFA's in your protein powder are not shelf stable, your protein powder starts going rancid the minute you open the bottle. Xtreme Formulations simply wasn't willing to go there, we would never compromise the integrity of our product by using non-shelf stable EFA's in anything we do. Ever. The last thing someone trying to build muscle needs, make that anyone for that matter, is a powder going rancid on them before they're even halfway through with the bottle.

A Star is Born!

Xtreme Formulations worked diligently for over 2 years with manufacturers devising a methodology to provide EFA's in a powder, yet maintain rock solid, iron clad shelf stability no matter what. No compromises here! Finally, after monumental efforts, a manufacturing breakthrough evolved and we are proud to announce a pioneering effort in bringing you the world's first sunflower oil powder encapsulated in caseinate. That's correct, the EFA's are actually encapsulated in caseinate and that protects them from the harsh realities known as our atmosphere which wreak total complete havoc on typical cheap inferior unprotected EFA powders.

We didn't stop there.

We know having the best protein gainer anabolic superfood in the world means very little if the taste isn't appealing. Once again we work in perfect symphony with only the finest gourmet flavor houses to bring you six award winning flavors that will leave you wondering if this is a protein shake or a $25 dessert at the finest restaurant in town!

There's a flavor for everyone! Ultra Peptide 2.0 is available in:

Banana Cream
Chocolate
Chocolate Peanut Butter
Cookies & Cream
Strawberry
Vanilla
Being a lean gainer means being more than just a protein powder, you need the EFA's and you need to think of this as a whole meal. This includes macronutrients and micronutrients. Therefore, just as Mother Nature devised with her infinite wisdom, we include a maintenance dose of creatine monohydrate, just like what's found in a typical serving of red meat. Also for soothing of the gut and hydration we chose to use a functional amount of rice oligodextrin, as the better your gut health, the better your gains!

All in all Xtreme Formulations believes Ultra Peptide 2.0 is the finest protein gainer in it's class. We believe once you try it, experience the taste and results you wont have reason to go back.

Go on then, if I'm getting bored of my unflavoured myprotein whey for a nice chocolate (or similar) flavour what's the best I can get for £40 or under?

Let's be honest here, can people actually see/feel a difference between one protein powder and the next?

This is exactly what I'm saying, there is no difference. Even the inclusion of different types of protein (isolate, egg, milk, etc.) is almost completely marketing hype.

The only possible difference is if you avoid taking your shakes because you can't stand the taste of MP/BSD/whatever.

There is literally no difference in gains. I've got a lot of respect for Kai because he's in great shape, but in reality he isn't that big. You could get to where he is by eating whole foods.
