Supplements the debate/discussion thread

I bought the product based on reviews, i read a lot around the product including side effects. The results seem to be postive. Agree to certain extent one of the 7 pills can be used as PCT due its milk like thistle content.

Review

no mate you have missed the point, this product is only beneficial to people who have altered their natural testosterone production and help kick start their natural system to get it back into order after a bicycle ride.

their is no reason why a healthy male needs any of that stuff.

try it out and see for yourself, i myself bought some tribulus, but i have ridden a bicycle in the past and wanted to see if my natural production needed a boost or not.

it probably doesn't though, as i have been gaining solid mass for years after the bicycle ride.

anyway, i honestly think this will have next to zero effect apart from make you horny, which does not equal more test to make muscles.

also milk thistle is not PCT is is something you take before, during and after to protect your liver. PCT is something you do to get your natural production back in order.

i dont really want to go into more detail on this subject on here.

As Kai is someone on here that clearly has been succesful thus far, judging from the photo thread (no homo lol) I took an interest in his suplements thread.

having looked up Animal Staks site, it does state that its for 'pedestrians' (those that dont want to ride a bicycle).

Could just be marketing rubbish though.

Re-googling...its animal stak 2 that im refering too. Could be different to what Kai has. not sure.

Has any of that stuff been scientifically proven? i mean boost test by a decent amount not just a 1% boost.

as said before by me, most likely not going to do anything. anything which can boost testosterone by decent amounts for building mass usually needs PCT afterwards.

i honestly think this product is PCT but just not been marketed as such, in order to not associate itself with the illegal side of things.

Novadex by Gaspari is pretty much the exact same thing, another PCT disguised as a natural test booster.

you may well be right.
Its not somthing im personaly looking to use, but did read about it just out of interest of what it was.

So its up to Kai to be the guinea pig and report back :)
Thats part of the reason for the thread right!

On a side note, went into TESCO after reading this thread. They have a little sports sup shop in there. Noticed they sell PHD products and wanted to go look at PHD Synergy ISO 7.

they charge £47 for it..which i though was bit steep.
Then noticed no-xplode the ones with 25% extra free - £65
Above which was Jack3d...I thought result, ive been wanting to try it - £39.99....crazy prices!

Wonder how some of these places stay in business.

i got 2 tubs of iso7 from h and b for £55 (buy 1 at full price and 1 for 1p deal)

jack3d is £20 online including delivery

it's tesco though, they make billions every year, they arent going to go out of business any time soon, people who buy supplements from tesco will usually have no idea about supplements, their prices or if they actually need them or not. so they will still sell, but probably a small amount.

tesco is good though for multivit's, fish oils, omega 3's, etc. that sort of stuff.

i can practically guarantee that animal stak wont be effective as a test booster, it may increase by 1-2% which is how they can advertise it as being a booster, because in effect it did boost test, but nowhere near the levels needed for it to actually have a real world effect.

I will indeed report back on my findings, Psycho Sonny well may be right. But the worst that can happen is i get more boners!!!

I am indeed myself sceptical about it. The product is not cheap but i got it for a fraction of the price due to Tropicana point system. I purchased based on reviews and the ones i read where all positive.

I am well aware of what PCT is and its effects. This may very well be a marked up hype product but i guess there is only one way to find out.

TheCybermonkey - i could not recommend PhD products highly enough, expensive but worth it.

I'm not having a go, I was just asking what additional benefits you thought they had which justified the additional cost.

I used PhD when I first started out, tasted good from what I remember

I've only tried the pre workout they do and was disappointed with that, but they are highly regarded

I only have one shake a day now, which is a post workout shake, and for that I use CNP Pro Recover, but if I was to use a protein shake regularly again it would have to be Gaspari Myofusion. Gaspari products are the nuts

Happens with my asda multi and h&b multi

that comes with the territory of any multi, opti men usually turns mine illuminous yellow though

Yeah that's more of the colour mine is, illuminous orange/yellow. Thought it was because I was dehydrated at first so gulped down water but it made no difference.

I'm told it is probably due to our bodies peeing out the excess vitamins.

Let's be honest here, can people actually see/feel a difference between one protein powder and the next?

yeah, myofusion tastes amazing, others make me feel like puking.

synergy iso7 also tastes good.

i have tried many many different powders too, dymatize, reflex, etc. for me it needs to taste nice. for others that isnt the case they should buy whatever s cheapest.

i see both sides of the argument.

So taste is the only noticeable difference between the different powders? What I'm trying to get at is I can't see someone gaining x amount more mass on one powder than another.

yeah you could do, if they are using a isolate or a blend, etc.

also some people are lactose intolerant etc, or allergic to some chemicals, so dont get on with some mixes.

so yeah there is an argument for quality as well. different types of protein will be better/worse than others.

i have no idea which ones are better than others though, all i know is myofusion has 4 different types of protein in its blend :

MyoFusion Athlete's Edge Complete Protein Blend (Cross-Flow, Cold Infused Whey Protein Concentrate, Cross-Flow, Cold Infused, Microfiltered Whey Protein Isolate, Egg Albumin, Milk Protein Isolate), Pro-Compliance Lipid Complex [Cold-Processed Sunflower Oil Powder, CLA (Micro-Encapsulated Conjugated Linoleic Acid), Cold-Processed Flax Seed Oil Powder], Cocoa, Pro-Compliance Dispersion Blend [Fibersol-2 (Soluble Fiber Glucose Polymer Complex], Xanthan Gum, Cellulose Gum, And Carrageenan], Mono- And Diglycerides, Glucose Polymers, Natural And Artificial Flavors, GaspriZyme™ [Lactase (Lactose Reduce Enzyme), Protease], Acesulfame Potassium, Sucralose
Allergen Warning: Contains ingredients from milk and egg. Made in a plant that also processes egg, soy, peanut, tree, nut, fish, crustaceans/shellfish, and wheat products.
