Supplements the debate/discussion thread

Cheers for all the info guys, starting my lactose free diet today so will report on how it goes.

Can't even tell the difference between the lactose free milk either :D

Gl m8 I'm gluten free and to begin with was lactose and gluten free for over 6 months. No reason it should affect training or gains, in fact chances are you will do better as a result of having to plan your diet that much more carefully.

Good deal from IS just now. Free 1kg whey with £50+ orders. Torn between this and the maxiraw welcome bag/free promax deal, as I've just run out of protein.

If anything I think the lactose free stuff tastes better and has less sugar overall - win-win! I would drink it all the time if I wasn't on a student budget.

Edit: @Clum - I'm seriously tempted to get both and just stockpile - no harm in it!

Ye could be a shout. Not sure what the score with pricing is going to be over the coming months though. Hoping prices might go back down to what they were at the start of the year, although could just as easily go the other way I suppose.

Personally, i rely on MyProtein T-Matrix, i got amazing results from it, and i'm addicted to it now, i have to have it in my lifestyle.

I got the MaxiRaw stuff. The protein tastes good but the free orange promax tastes disgusting.

What does this T-matrix do?

http://www.myprotein.com/uk/products/mp-max-t-matrix

MP Max T Matrix is one of the most advanced muscle building products to hit the market, using a scientifically driven formula to help you achieve the lean gains you deserve.

Combining some of the most exciting muscle building ingredients available, MP Max T Matrix can take your training to the next level by providing unequalled gains. Mucuna Pruriens, Fenugreek, DIM and D Aspartic Acid have all been shown to have a positive effect on growth compound levels whilst also creating the most positive balance for tissue growth. To further boost muscle mass, Beta Ecdysterone and Methoxy Isoflavone have been added to boost protein synthesis and help create the optimal muscle building environment.

This revolutionary formula has been specifically designed for serious athletes looking for serious gains in strength, power and muscle mass.

All i take is stuff from MyProtein.

-Superfood XS.
-Total Protein.
-Instant Oats.
-Alpha Men.
-Omega 369.
-EAA [before i train].
-MP MAX T Matrix.

Seems to do the job for my body.

Just wondering whether anyone else uses supplements as their source of food for whatever reasons? Personally, I find it cheaper and more convenient.

Anybody recommend Testosterone boosters? Contemplating getting the MP MAX T Matrix

i have been through every test booster known to man and nothing ever did anything. And speaking as someone who has actually used test, they really really dont!

of course in a minute someone will come and post some science links relating to tribulus or similar, the above is just my opinion on real world effectiveness of test boosters.

Has anyone got any recommendations for a decent bedtime protein formula, similar to MyProteins Bedtime Extreme, or USN Pure?

Fancy trying something new
