Supplements the debate/discussion thread

I found IF made no difference. In fact i think i was eating more on IF, even when i was down to a 4h eating window.

Theres no way i could eat more :o i tried to do my bulk calories in 8 hours, not a chance i just felt constantly sick. Now it's easy mode though on about 10% below maintenance gonna keep this up for a week or 2 and see about lowering it a touch more

I can't eat anything like i used to be able to eat, but i can still finish off 3000 in a sitting.

Not exactly a supplement but Im looking for some tupperwear bottles or similar to put a shake in to take to work. It goes in my car so needs to be completely sealed in case it falls over in my lunch bag so that rules a shaker out as the ones I have from MP the caps arent overly secure.

I blend my shakes so doesnt have to be transferred into/from a shaker.

can someone spec me some cheap flavoured whey powder preferably myprotein/BBW (tends to be ~£10/kg? ), and the most cost effective/cheapest multivitamin and some cheap omega 3's

Cheers guys.

I think Maxiraw is worth the first purchase

http://www.maxiraw.com/vouchers

£50 for 5kg or whey, with free shaker, tshirt, scoops etc for first order. Good value and service IMO

Not bad with the added stuff.

The unflavoured whey at my protein is cheaper mind, but it's unflavoured. Theres another site FF posted to, but can't remember it this second, its a few pages back

Did used to be cheaper with BBW in the price beater, but it doesnt show up anymore :(

I'm going to mix up my own blend - yes shocker, I know, FF using supps! Well, it's about a bit of cost saving at the moment (saving for a deposit, and have a few big wedding holidays this year too). However as a result I should still get the macros I need, and save myself a decent whack a month.

My mix will be made of the following:

Mix of whey isolate, concentrate and milk protein
Oats
maltodextrin
dextrose
Creapure
Glutamine
HMB
Ribose
Leucine

Obviously I will still be taking my fish oils! :p

What will be the main point for taking the mix? I dont know much when it comes to supplements (only ones I recognize are Glutamine, Leucine, Oats and Creapure).

-Edit- Just reminded me.. Still got 2.5kg of Oats to get through from the new year bundle!

I had my order of this arrive yesterday.
I went for the WPC Precision in raspberry ripple and strawberry flavours. Had to order another shaker though as it's over £50 not £50 spend to get the free stuff with it.

Oh well, can never have too many shakers, delivery was free DPD next day as well, shirt is decent and well the scoops are scoops. :p
