Banoffee Whey Protein shake. Yes I'm a giant child. But its so nice! :p

I have 1 in the morning just after my workout. And I take one on a Night just before Work, along side a caffeine pill.

I didn't realise that oats after a workout were a bad idea.

Think next time I make an order from somewhere I'll add some dextrose. Gutted as only made an order with MP on Saturday (it came today as well even with Yodel free delivery).

Ended up getting the Size and Strength bundle for £19.99

Included

Impact Whey Protein -1kg Chocolate Smooth

Instant Oats - 1KG

Creatine Monohydrate - 250g

MP MAX® Total Gainer 50g Vanilla (Sample)

MP MAX® MyBar Deluxe 70g bar, Caramel and Hazelnut (Sample)

Zinc & Magnesium - 90 Tabs

Waxy Maize Starch 1kg

Myprotein MixMaster Shaker

Overall very happy with it. The whey, oats and creatine are just top ups of what I already use. Going to give the waxy maize starch a try just because it's included but can't see myself ordering it again simply due to the cost of it. The Zinc and Magnesium will be good I hope as well because I'm not sleeping enough at the moment.

Yet another shaker as well, have about 6 now.

Hmm, So dextrose!? I suppose that would be a good replacement for my constant need to drink sugarfree redbull on the night shift?

Just looking at myprotein. I already have a 5KG tub of Protein powder now.

But I think I'm going to be making some purchases at the end of this month

Alpha Men Super Multi vitamins - 240tabs
Dextrose - 5KG pouch

Only thing is, I dont want to gain too much fat. I do 7 hours of constant cardio on my Job, Plus a full body workout twice a week. I suppose the dextrose wont stay in my system long enough to turn to fat... Well I hope not :p

I'm merely taking Dextrose along with whey as a post work out supp, theory being the dextrose is a fast absorbing carb and should help with moving the protein to places that need it most after the workout.

Do not drink dextrose as a drink like red bull!!!

It's pretty much sugar so you'd be consuming a lot of very simple calories! It's fine post workout but thats the only time it's used

Ah lol. I'll stick to my Sugarfree Redbull :o :p

I cant get away with drinking dextrose with Whey post working. As I do my workout at 7.30am after my night shift, and so sleep about an hour after the workout. I can imagine it'll cause me to not want to sleep :p

So I'll skip the stuff I think. Just some Multivitamins for me then!

Waxy Maize Starch is one supplement I do not totally understand...i've read conflicting things as to its purpose? such as :

Waxy maize starch is slow absorbing carbohydrate with a high molecular weight. Its common knowledge in professional sports nutrition circles that the higher the molecular weight the slower a product absorbs. So the lower the molecular weight, the faster a product absorbs. Now to completely put this theory to bed, let?s talk raw numbers: Molecular weight is measured in a unit called Daltons. Waxy maize starch has a molecular weight of 500,000 Daltons, sucrose or table suger comes in at 342, and pure dexanhydrous glucose has a molecular weight of only 180 Daltons.

however there is loads of articles suggest its fast digesting

I think you should give it a go actually. The insulin spike (which is beneficial for muscle building) will cause you to crash for a short while, might just be the perfect sleeping aid.

Gonna give the pre workout a whirl later

Looks like the law has just been inforced with immediate effect

MHRA - Products targeted will include those containing 1,3 Dimethylamylamine and Synephrine which will mean the loss of most fat burners and preworkouts.

Targeted ingredients: milk thistle, 1,3, synephrine, Hoodia, Rauwolscine, yohimbine, melatonin, GABA, evodiamine, clary sage, Tribulus, icariin/epimedium, white willow bark, ephedra, forskolin, plus a load more.

J3cked is one product that will no longer be available in the UK.

Looks like the next 5 days (time given to sort) for supplement websites will be interesting!

Any links to the Jacked thing? I know someone who uses that :p

J3cked contains 1,3-Dimethylamylamine, look at ingredients = this is now an offical banned UK substance. I am just going off Predator Nutrition who have been told to remove all stock on the banned list and it appears there is a LOT. It appears if it's and herb it's banned - lol
