Supplements the debate/discussion thread

Arguably one the best investments to your health you can make? These are by quite a large margin the best value Vitamin D3 I have seen anywhere.

I have these exact ones. Great stuff when you can't get as much sun as you need. And about the omega oils.. I haven't actually used their stuff, I take flaxseed oil straight off the spoon (45g a day). But I have bought other sups from them and have been good.

Does anyone know what the amino acid profile is like on MP isolate? Looking for a protein that had a good amount in it so I don't have to buy seperatly.

Just ordered 5kg of choc smooth isolate from MP. £56 using the price beater thing and 5% discount. Itching to get back into training after 4months out. :D

Around 4 or 5 months ago I started using PhD Synergy ISO-7 -

Synergy-ISO-7 is the answer to the all-in-one conundrum, its also an answer to the prayers of those seeking complete nutritional synergy. Synergy-ISO-7 is a premium product designed to maximise the various needs of all modern-day athletes. Modern-living demands we all have busy lives and these time constraints can often seriously hamper our nutritional choices. It is not very often that we have time to eat 6 times daily, let alone find time to take the individually-packed supplements we need to progress. With Synergy-ISO-7, all our result-producing supplemental-requirements are taken care of in one great-tasting drink.

Used this for about a month before giving it up. Didnt feel as though it was making much of a difference. Who knows, perhaps I wasnt being strict enough with my diet.

Since giving PhD's supp up, I've tried to remain on a strict carbs and protien diet. with the aim to put on more weight and bulk up.

People often say they've noticed huge difference. "Huge"... Bit of an overstatement in my opion but its cool to see theres been a differnce.

Today I picked up a new supp from Body Tech called 100% Stabilized Creatine Elixir. Apparently this will help out with intense workout sessions. I go to the gym 3 times a week so it should be interesting to see whether or not this makes a difference.

Have any of you used this creatine elixir from Body Tech or anything similar?

What are your thoughts on such supplements?

For IndigoGorilla:

My diet to be as per Steedie, not currently on it completely yet (money / need to get paid / i'll blow up if I eat that much straight away :D)

6:30am - 70g oats, 30g whey, handful of flaked almonds, handful of blueberries, sliced banana, all in a bowl with water
Half grapefruit

9:00 – 100g diced chicken breast, 2x wholemeal pita bread, salad, drizzled with Good Oil (no more than a tbsp)

11:30 – 150g Mackerel, 250g sweet potato, chilli flakes

2:00 – 112g turkey, 70g rice with ½ cup of broccoli, 1 tbsp of Good Oil

4:00 – Jacket potato with tin of tuna, ½ cup of broccoli

6:00 – PWO Shake (30g whey/50g Dextrose)

Dinner

10:00 – 3 boiled eggs, ½ tbsp of peanut butter

The 'Dinner' is so vague purely because it varies every week and I eat what the lady eats :)

Is this everyday?!

Please don't tell me you wasted £35 on that from H&B? Liquid creatine is next to worthless, it begins to break down once it's in solution to creatinine iirc which isn't what we want.

Would you say that was the general view of this product?

I shop at gnc.

What (rather than this creatine juice) would you recommend?

If you don't have time to eat 17 meals, don't. I eat 3 meals at the moment while cutting, when bulking it's still only 3 just bigger and with an extra snack or 2.

10-15 minutes of actual kitchen time per meal, maximum.

What is your diet out of interest? :) Just interested how people do everything
