I am disappointed to hear that my order has been delayed. I have always used a competitor in the past however due to reports of great service I thought I would give Bulkpowders.co.uk a try. I was specifically after next day delivery and was counting on it arriving on time, which is why I paid for the next day delivery service that is available.

To be confronted with an issue like this with my very first order is disappointing and doesn't give me great confidence in continuing as a customer.

Dear Richard

We apologise for this delay and the lack of confidence it has given you as a customer.
We will send you some protein samples in the post to try and alleviate some of this inconvenience.

:D

Seriously impressed at them actually emailing me what they did in the first place, a lot of other retailers would just wait for complains before sending out messages like that. Response was very fast too even out of hours.

I wonder what I'll get :D Most likely just teeny tiny samples but meh, work the 2 minute email :D

can get 24 free flapjacks for orders over £90 at maxiraw

That + the free batch of stuff you get for your first order is very tempting.

Might order 2x5kg whey and save the flapjacks for when I go kayaking in the alps :)

Maxiraw is great. I got 5kg of whey, 3ks of their carb impact for £55! Plus there free first order pack :D

At the moment I have three shakes a day, which are one large scoop of whey protein in either water or milk. One with breakfast, one as I train and one before bed.

I am thinking of buying some slow release form of protein for before bed instead of whey (which is supposed to be fast acting right?). What do you guys think of "milk protein smooth" or "calcium caseinate" on myprotein.com? They both are supposed to be slow release, and only cost bit more that whey, and are both slow release.

Not really worth the extra dollar IMO.

That is quite good to be honest. I don't have a problem with any company that has sent something late if it is dealt with correctly and you are kept informed. It's the lets wait and see if they complain attitude that really winds me up. I had this with MyProtein and will only order from them again when not in a rush for it or they have a really good bundle deal on. Otherwise I'm avoiding them from now on.

Going to give BulkPowders a try soon I think. :)

Again, NEVER had an issue with MyProtein. But then again I don't order it for a specific date because I just don't generally trust delivery companies.

:p

My omega 3 capsules make my hands smell like fish :(. It has added another step to my morning routine at work of having to vigorously wash my hands when cleaning my bowl :D.

Leave to move back to Aus next Sat and the capsules mentioned above and my banana flavoured BSN syntha-6 protein should run out within a day or two of that!!! It seems as if all the gym gods (ronnie, arnie and Ax) are smiling down on me :p

It's not even that I'm ever in a rush for anything to be honest. Just nice to have it when expected and have everything arrive. If it's not going too I want to be told before hand and not be surprised.

When I used MyProtein to order a bundle they only sent half of it and when I complained didn't have any communication with anyone at all, no sorry, no explanation.

Just had a new order confirmation sent to my email and the parcel turned up a few days later.

A little human interaction wouldn't go a miss.

Anyway enough of my moaning I like Maxiraw now. :p

Just stuck an order in for 5kg of unflavoured WPC from myprotein. Lets see how the service is, I've never had any problems before.
