Supplements the debate/discussion thread

already confirmed from the same source that if you have enough of it in the diet then its fine ;)

Fair game. I'll use up the remainder and leave it at that until funds are better then.

Breakfast: 60g oats, blueberries, chocolate whey. 3 egg whites omellete with some chilli flakes

Meal 2: 1 pita wholemeal pitta, filled with 1/2 tin of tuna and salad, drizzled with good oil. Some spinach on the side

Meal 3: 60g brown rice, 90g chicken, asparagus and spinach, cayenne pepper and 1tbsp good oil

Meal 4 (pre training): Jacket potato with 1/2 tin of tuna

Meal 5: Post workout shake

Meal 6: casein protein

That's without dinner, as we used to eat the same thing (me and partner) however this week i've started buying myself some more mince and frozen fish etc

To total this up for 7 days a week your looking at the following:

Tuna £3.78 (7 tins)
Pitas £0.80 (6pk)
Chicken £4.00 (1kg)
Eggs £3.10 (30pk)
Asparagus £2.60 (400g)
Spinach £2.50 (1 large packs)
Brown rice £1.79 (1kg)
Jacket potatoes £1.40 (2 750g pack)
oats 87p (420g per week based on buying 5kg bag from MP)
Blueberries £2 (1 pack)
Whey £3.70 (based on 330g per week buying a 5kg bag from MP)

So you only need 2 packs of eggs, and 3 bags of chicken, a month on top of all that and one good oil so monthly costs would be as follows:
£101

I must say it can be done cheaper, I do dinner as wellin mine!

Urgh, got a load of those Simply Supps Triple Strength Omega 3's... lovely high EPA and DHA but getting truly awful fishy burps. :(

Might give MP's liquid Omega 3 a go next and throw it in my shake.

Fishy Burps? Send them back, I've never had fish breath issues with caps.

Thank Syla5, I tend to buy Princes tuna or something other than tesco tuna, I seem to find things in there every time I have one! Like a piece of glass or something.

Also, I tend to buy tescos own oats rather than oats off of MP :) Where the hell you get that 30pk of eggs? lol

Thanks though mate, give me an idea, this is when i'm on a diet! God knows what it will be when im putting mass on! :p

I would suggest talking to mr steedie about mp oats over normal
Oats, you will prob save money, and I am pretty sure there a better option :-)
