Supplements the debate/discussion thread

UE, I thought you said your bulk was like 2500 kcals? Eh? Nothing makes sense! How can you bulk on the (seemingly bonkers low) number of 2500 kcals, and spend £1.2k doing so? Do you eat gold plated chicken breast with diamond studded potato?

Sorry brah, I don't believe you in the slightest :p

I do quite well on a budget. £65/week on food shopping and then £40 or so per month on whey/oats.

^which is very achievable if you use supermarkets and don't eat out.
Wondering how you can bodybuild for less than £600 a month is just cheap trolling.

Yes, you can spend a lot of money if you only buy organic steak, salmon and expensive cuts of meat. Doesn't mean you have to.

my food budget for just my specific diet is £100 pm, on top of this sups are around £25pm
weekly shopping for the house is £60-£90 but out of this my wife cooks for up to 16 kids 4 nights a week.

Overall food and sups bill for a given month can range from £365 to £485 per month.

Yes UE the cost of variation is more expensive then the same day in day out, i call bull on your £1.2k on food, especially considering you eat the same cal wise as me!

Your saing that for variation it cost you an extra £450 pm over a budget sufficent to provide you with what you need, and then on top of that your spending another £600 pm eating out?!?!!??

either your eating 4k+ cals per day and bs'ing here about your 2.4k cals a day bulk diet or your bs'ing about your £1.2k per month on food.

To be honest more and more of your posts are just reading as " trollololololllololllol trolll trollllolol trololol"

never really thought about it, low bills though, helps me. Still i wonder how you can bodybuild on less than 600 a month i spose its poss with bulk chicken and rice day in day out. I also make the mistake of going to the supermarket daily for my food (other than chicken breast which i do bulk buy).

That does seem very steep.

I guess it would depend on how much you are eating out and if you are buying premium food from super markets (free range eggs, finest meat etc).

£400 a month including whey & oats is more than enough for most people.

The guy is definitely trolling, spoke to a big sized guy down the gym today who is currently bulking and he said he spends around 400-500 a month.

I would be suprised as he has posted here on/off for a while, despite the fact I have been absent myself for several months.

that really isnt much m8 you really spend less than 600 a month on food? nuts. I think overall with meals out etc must be over 1.2k a month. Assumed that was pretty normal, though a lot in here are students or young etc.

1.2k? lol - That's more than my wage packet :D

And how old are you exactly? You're hardly old :p

£1.2k equates to 71.5 WHOLE DUCKS (2.1kg) from Ocado, per month. 2.5 ducks per day, if just eating premium duck from Ocado.

If just buying premium duck breast, again from Ocado, that's 48kg of duck breast per month, lol.

He must be a big guy then lol.

Anyone notice MP's little offer of buy 3 1KG flavoured Impact Whey and get 1 free?

I just decided to buy that along with some more oats and some digestimax for ole mumsy.
Set me back quite a bit.

What happened to buying 5KG Impact Whey for €45 :(

For BCAA's I prefer Scivation Xtend, tastes amazingly as well.

But at €55 for 1.1KG it's quite pricey. Will be wating until I scrape the last few spots of powder from the tub before buying again.
