For BCAA's I prefer Scivation Xtend, tastes amazingly as well.

But at €55 for 1.1KG it's quite pricey. Will be wating until I scrape the last few spots of powder from the tub before buying again.

I just get the normal stuff and mix it with juice. Got to the point where I dont even taste it anymore.

Just looked at the one you mentioned and it seems to be only £5 different from MP's normal BCAA. Also has some added bits too, so might be worth looking at.

That £5 is another reason it sells to me, I pay €55 and that's with free postage, while shipping from MP is about £6 for me and it doesn't have those extra bits and the nice flavours.

If you are looking into it, do make sure you're looking at the New formula one.

Which one is that? This is the one I just saw from doing a google shopping search.

that's because you are doing it wrong.
1. go to myprotein.co.uk
2. click on price matcher
3. paste following link: http://www.oneon.co.uk/store/products,whey-protein-max_26.htm
4. purchase 1kg of EAA for £23.94
5. profit!

As for the taste it is pretty bad. Robinsons' orange squash with no added sugar is your friend and a 0.5 bottle. Mix, shake and it's perfectly acceptable.

Actually, im doing it right, you just read my post wrong (Im looking at BCAA and not EAA ;)). Also, I use Ironscience.co.uk in the Price Matcher too.

There will be plenty of people who will argue that EAA's are better than BCAA's, when BCAA's are £35 pricematched and EAA's are 40% cheaper it really is a no brainer which one you should get.

I use BCAA because I do my training in the morning, fasted. So, thats the only reason I really use it.

An open mouthed swallow mixed with cranberry juice was the only way I could get them down. Think I capped them in the end. Leucine not being water soluble doesn't help!

Swallowing is not so good, I used to cap them as well but it's fairly time consuming.

I have 4 small scoops of BCAA and 2 of Leucine in a 0.7L capella bottle, shake like there is no tomorrow for a few seconds, leave to settle for a couple of minutes and it mixes fine. There will be the odd grit here and there but it will be perfectly acceptable and nowhere near as rank as chugging them down.

Do you lot drink your stuff at the gym straight after or is it ok to have it at home half an hour after training?

Tbh i don't think it makes much difference, i do try and have it when i can.

But i do believe in having a good meal an hour or so afterwards, to me that does make a difference to recovery.

Regarding creatine,

What time do you guys take yours?.

I've decided to do the "slow load" of 6g per day over a 20 day period, I tried doing the quick load method but it just gave me stomach aches (also eating 20 giant pills a day is pretty tragic)

Currently I'm just taking the 3g in the morning, but does it really make much difference when you take them?.

I'm currently working through a bottle of creative mono-hydrate (pills ... urgh... first mistake...) - I'll be getting the powder as soon as they have run out, but don't want to waste them so I'll use em till they are done.

I was considering doing 3g in the morning then another 3g before my workout/after work.

For the people who use Rhodiola rosea here, i'd be interested to know which product you use and how much/how often you take it.. and do you find it works?

Since my last lot ran out I've never got round to ordering any more but speaking to some guys down about it, it's sparked my interest again.
