Supplements the debate/discussion thread

I've persevered with the pea protein and I can finally stomach it. Though I do have a teaspoon of cocoa powder with each scoop of protein, I only have a couple of scoops a day at most so it isn't too much. The taste aside, I definitely prefer it over whey protein.

That doesn't surprise me, your body will be able to digest it better. :)

Ooh, never noticed this thread here...

Have ran out of shake and I'm limited to buying some things I've never tried before so was helping some people might help or have used some and can recommend as they're mainly US brands. I usually use the MyProtein whey blend which seems to work for me.

There are loads of Muscletech range but I heard they are to be avoided.
GNC - AMPlified Wheybolic Extreme 60 = I think it is Isolate, and poss the best quality option, but expensive too.
GNC - Pro Performance 100% Whey Protein
EAS - 100% Whey Protein
Prolab - Advanced Whey
Body fortress - Super Advanced Whey - really cheap so quite dubious
BSN - Synth 6

Whats peoples views on unflavoured whey protein? Seems cheaper and just wondering if it still tastes ok.

Some people like me dont mind it, some people want to vomit at the very thought of it.
I used to use it exclusively but now I've found a few decent flavoured ones at good prices I normally stick to them as its nice to have something sweet when your dieting

you can always add a teaspon of nesquick, but no, I wouldn't take it without adding anything else.

I've found that already flavoured ones are a bit lumpier and harder to mix, even if they're from the same producer.

FAO those who are using STC whey. It's between 20-30% protein instead of the advertised 80%.

Only certain batches.

You sure the source of these batch numbers are legit?

Edit: Just read that these are now on STC nutrition. I'm real gutted now. Will they be refunding me via paypal? or replacement you reckon?

Just checked and only one of my tubs is affected, I wasnt a massive fan of the raspberry one anyway.
Now just for the arse ache of returning it.
I would imagine they will refund to the card you used to pay rather than by replacement

We'll need to return it? I'm thinking its a straight to the bin job if they know what batch numbers they've sent out tbh.
