I asked my GP that and he said that his cousin has started taking protein shakes etc and it turned out they had trace amounts of steroids, which is maybe why you can see the improvements more easily and quickly.

Creatine is really good but you take it a for month then month off etc otherwise your kidneys will literally explode.

Protein shakes is probably a good starting point, but don't get scammed and buy some ****** very cheap ones. :)

tbh a really good well balanced diet and working different groups of muscles should just do the trick.

Whilst I appreciate your post was probably in jest and also gave me a good, hard laugh, it's people like you and your GP friend who give people in resistance training regimes, dietary supplements and the whole arena of muscle fitness a bad name, whilst also givi.g ignorami false hopes about hydroxycut, Maximuscle and whatever else claims 'muscle growth'.
 
Wondered why I'd had epic toilet troubles for the last few days and then it dawned on me...

I've been using my large 30g+ protein scoop for my creatine shakes...

Note to self, buy digital scales.

I really hope that's a joke... but at the same time, was happy to get a serious laugh out of it! :D
 
I had 2 scoops of craze at 7pm last night.. FOOLISHLY

I was awake through til 5am. Never had the stuff screw me over like that before :(

Luckily the scoop wasn't loaded but its obviously still too much... However, I am in my loading phase I guess?? :D:o

After my sixth visit to the lav, I was beginning to wish that I had just been sick instead! Lol!


Lesson learnt it seems. Maybe measure out what you are putting in to your body!?! //Facepalms self...
 
I use the small blue scoop that came with Jack3d for my creatine, a level scoop is 5g (also confirm on my scales).
 
The even better thing is it might be a 30g scoop for whey but creatine is a lot less "fluffy" so who knows how much you've been taking!
 
Why why why would you just start taking something without reading up about it first?! :\

That's the crazy thing, I did read into it! Lol! (I'd also used it before years ago.) I created a spreadsheet of when I was to take it, the amounts for the loading phase and then the amounts for the maintenance phase and everything! But then I just picked up my scoop without actually measuring it... (That sounds massively retarded as I write this, but that was the case!)

Its definitely a lesson learnt I guess. :) And the public shaming I've given myself right will mean i'll never do something like this again. So thanks. :D
 
Whats the consensus on pre workout sups at the minute, I loved Jack3d before it was banned and i want to buy something to give me a little kick before hitting the weights.
