T-mobile Pulse - Android touch phone.

I would just send it back if its a bit flakey and get another one.

There's also a camera issue with the barcode scanning apps, but I heard that will be sorted hopefully with a software update to the phone.

Just phoned t mobile, apparently they have stock but they're waiting upon the literature  i'm assuming by this she meant the manuals and stuff. Anyways the point is she said i should have it with me by tomorrow :D

Phoning was a good idea.

Yup, just phoned up now and they have pushed my order through so i'll get it on friday.

I spoke to the women about the delay and she told me that they're trying to get paperwork organised for some kind of quickstart/topup instructions, so I will receive this separately now.

Basically if you want your phone ring up now and ask for it.

That would still mean getting onto my parent's email account, and seeing as it's in the name of my mother i doubt very much that they would believe me. It's a bit of a kerfuffle, but it depends on how long it would take otherwise.

Got mine this morning... and I can't believe how good it is. So, yeah, the camera is really poor and is off the hook in terms of blur and lack of sharpness, and it's all shiney, so it slips out of fingers, but it's a wicked phone for the money. Incredible.

I've got one too as well now, great phone ,love some of the apps, bad things camera, not had a good picture yet ,and the battery life is very poor, dont leave wifi on or it'll kill it in a couple of hours. even leaving it off charge over night with wifi off and it's dead in the morning :(

bullit

decided on not taking the risk and buying one of these and chose to get the tattoo instead, for £226 sim free. couldn't risk £100 for something that may not work, even the t-mobile guy said it might not work on my network even after unlocking :p

Which is why it's on T-Mobile...

What is your network anyway? Why are you so attached to them?

Aye, but it was such a tempting price for an android device. (apart from the battery life)

my network is wave telecom part of the jersey telecom group. unfortunately we only have three providers over here :( and t-mob isn't one of them.

the battery life is very poor,

I don't think it's that bad. I unplugged it from mains around 13:00 hours and been playing with it constantly and at the moment, after 7 hours of use battery shows 71%.

I had a look around for a belt pouch for it though and accessories seem to be the weakest link of this phone. Has anybody found any cases etc for it?

well I've had my first full day with it today , unplugged it at around 9 this morning, got back at 6 and it said it had 15% remaining plug in now.....

thats quite bad considering I havent actually used it today...maybe theres a setting I have on (or off) thats useing power when it shouldnt.???

bullit

Do you leave wifi on when not connected via it? If I do, on my Magic, the battery depletes a lot faster than if I don't.

aye, my nokia e71 used to run out of battery really quick with wifi scanner turned on, or connected to a wireless access point. just turn it off if you're not using it. same with bluetooth
