I've popped another PDF on the Dropbox folder. Won't be any use for the tournament, but might be interesting for friendlies I guess.
Just looking through my copy of the new rulebook and I have to say, it's a beautiful piece of work with everything in full-colour and the pages being laid out in a nice way, but I'm not sure how I feel about this approach on the new Codexes as well. I'd have preferred a softback option at a lower price, as £30 is a bit high for me. This makes it painful for anyone getting into the game for the first time as you're dropping £75 on two books (assuming you buy straight from GW rather than finding a discounted option somewhere online) before you even get your first models to do anything with, unless you buy the Dark Vengeance boxed set, which is only really good if you like the look of either Chaos or Dark Angels.
I imagine if it wasn't for the fact that GW games are so popular and they do have some of the best-looking models and best fluff available, this is where companies like Privateer Press and Mantic could make significant gains in the market, as the former offers their rules in both soft- and hard-cover formats and it's not essential to buy the book for your chosen faction, although I'm told it can be useful.

We might need a bigger battlefield...Maybe 8 by 6.
