Tabletop Warhammer?

Yeah at this moment in time I am free all weekend so can play at nearly any point... Will check back here periodically :)

Does it include four Monstrous Creatures?

That is an option for Eldar, an expensive one though!

Well I'm happy to give you a friendly if you want with a different army so you can practice with yours. I don't really want to get too many games ahead in the league! If no-one else is available :)

It's only 455 points if you don't take any ranged weapons on the Wraithlords...515 if you do (with Scatter Lasers, of course). It's around the cost of six Assault Terminators in a Crusader but as they're four separate units, they can't all draw the same amount of fire. What's not to love?* :p

Sadly, the standard Codex Eldar doesn't really do much for me at the moment. Until they sort out the unit pricing and the issues with the vehicles and core troops, I just don't think it would be worth picking up my old army. Now, the Corsairs in IA11 on the other hand, they look like a fun list to play. :D

* May be hoping for you to ignore Wraithsight...

Craftworld Eldar Woogie!

Yeah the Eldar codex is lacking tbh, but I used to love Eldar so I want to try it, you can still make some very competitive lists with it but there are too many trash units (either good but too expensive or not good) Warp Spiders, Swooping Hawks, Banshees in particular and to a lesser extent Wraithguard and most of the Phoenix Lords.

Spiders aren't bad for a combined anti-tank/anti-infantry role, as S6 will wound most things on a 2+ and a lot of vehicles don't have a rear AV above 12, but Hawks do look terrible these days (and didn't look great when the book was released! :(). I'd probably take Harlequins over Banshees as they just seem to be a better combat unit. Higher WS, I and A values, ignore Difficult Terrain, Furious Charge, Hit and Run, Rending (if you buy the Harlequin's Kiss upgrade, which you really, really should)... Sure, they come in at 22pts each rather than 16, but I think they're worth it. After all, what good is a S3 power weapon against the kind of troop that you really need to negate the save on? :p

Yeah, Eldar really need a vehicle you can assault out of, until then Banshees will be rubbish, they're just outclassed by Harlequins. Harlequins can be effective without a vehicle as well with the Shadowseer.

Yep. They can take a Venom in a Corsair list (which I believe also benefits from the Veil of Tears power - unless 6th Ed. requires a psyker to be disembarked, I haven't got to that point in the book yet), but that limits them to only five.

I'd like to take at least eight and preferably the whole ten. On the turn that they assault, they could wipe out a five-man Terminator squad, especially with Doom...

Lol that is going to be a good game haha i wonder who i can play next. Not sure when im available someone mention when they arr free nd ill see if i can be free for that night. Usually bout 7.30 onwards is good for me. This would be my third game btw is that ok?
