Steam group sounds like a good idea, cant think of any appropriate puns for a name of the group though

The only units I'm absolutely sure about taking are a Lord and Warriors.

It depends on the lists really! I'm going with CSM and Necrons though. If that Necron list has enough Tesla then it can just burn through hordes.

The Necron army is basically the battleforce pack and a HQ (dunno which one) I could try and find my CSM List I have made.

if AP is equal or lower to the armour save then armour save is ignored (cover saves or invulnerable saves may still be taken though)

Also AP1 gets +2 on the vehicle damage chart, AP2 gets +1.

So for example a Heavy Bolter and a Plasma Cannon shoot at a squad of Marines. The shots from the Heavy Bolter (AP4) are not enough to negate the armour save of 3+ so the marines get standard saves. The Plasma Cannon is AP2 so the marines get no armour save.
