Tabletop Warhammer?

Nice Heldrake. :)

I actually don't think the price on the Wraithknight is anywhere near the worst from GW (the looks are debatable though); it is 9" tall, which is edging closer to the size of the Revenant Titan, which I believe is 11-12" from head to toe. It's still more than realistically it should be (though that won't change until people vote with their wallets), but not as bad as things like the revised Dire Avenger box, Bloodcrushers of Khorne etc.

Had a mate round last night who was interested and we had a quick game to show him the mechanics and let him get a feel for it. He left with my rulebook to have a proper read over and hes watching a couple tau armies on ebay to get himself going.

Although playing the daemons didnt feel great for me so im unsure if im going to keep them around or if ill maybe just ebay them. Ill try them out a few more times possibly but so far im just not feeling them as much as my chaos marines.

WIP shot of the Wraithlord, legs cut, green stuffed and pinned and arm cut, green stuffed and pinned. Still deciding on the second arm, trying to track down a second sword, either that or I'll use a shield of some sort like the new Wraithknight and Wraithguard have.

Could really do with options on the leg shield (it's just blu tacked at the moment) It's a high elf shield that I've rounded off the top, does it work?

Had a bash at painting one, flash totally washes out the different red tones (got 3 layers on it) - 26 in total :/....

Need to find a way of steadying my hand lol (got the shakes!).

Will be spending some time on improving over the coming weeks, first one in about 15 years!

It's one of the Chosen from the Dark Vengeance set. Very detailed models, for a starter kit. :)

Liking the Wraithlord pose, Shami.
Yup, what he said ^ :).

Got around to getting a better brush & did one of the Terminators.

The flash is a little harsh on these - drains out all the colour & makes the inks look odd - the one of the top left is closer to reality.

Still got loads to learn, but pleased for a 2nd attempt.

Taking a while to get used to using the whole... prime, base, shade, layer 1, layer 2, glaze - for most of the colours..., oh well!.

Edit

Got a slightly better pic.

I'm considering it. I hardly have any time to paint anymore sadly and they're just sitting there looking all sad plus there's loads of the buggers. I know, my fault for getting orks :o

I'm still not sure if to keep them but if you're interested in any let me know
