Tabletop Warhammer?

Black Templars chapter upgrade pack arrived today. Fancy an Ultramarine one too if they do one.

I really wish they did an Ultramarine one especially now im committed to starting to put together a 3rd company force. Does anyone know if the finecast ultramarine pads fit ok or are they slightly smaller than needed as ive heard a few are?

Those are the ones im not sure about. I know some of the older metal ones that you can still get are a bit smaller but i wasnt sure if these ones fit better. I probably should just learn to freehand it but i dont think anyone wants to see that attempt

Some Pics of the Ravenwing stuff I've been working on lately

Have since replaced the base on the biker with a proper bike base.

Seems the same so far, I'm really liking the changes. I've been comparing the previous codex and some things have got much cheaper (all aspects bar Fire Dragons for one) Shining Spears are much cheaper and much better. I actually think I could take some Fast Attack choices in an Eldar army now!

Heavy support though...

Support Battery
Dark Reapers
Wraithknight
Wraithlord
Fire Prism
Falcon
Night Spinner
War Walkers

How the hell do you pick 3 out of that?!? They should have moved War Walkers to Fast Attack, Falcons should have been dedicated transport like Razorbacks and Wraithknights could have been an Elite choice :(

Fire Prisms lost their joint beam support attack but gained an awesome Strength 9 AP1 Lance attack.

There's already a Battlescribe catalogue for the new Eldar codex

Reapers look excellent and can now be taken in ten man squads if wanted. Oh yes they also have slow and purposeful so they can move and fire heavy weapons now :D Weirdly the Exarch can take a skyfire upgrade....but no-one else can...and he doesn't have split fire

The codex seems to be lacking in anti air really, the fighters are both very good but very, very lightly armoured. Warwalkers can take Skyfire but again die when anyone looks at them.

Now to go back to reading the Necron codex :p
