Tabletop Warhammer?

Finished up the Stormeagle for a friend. Needs a coat of Matt Varnish tomorrow to seal it and take off the gloss but the paintwork is done.

Stand is temporary as it is actually mine from my Tau flyer. Also I should probably use a real camera lol. Those pics look awful!

Just doing a list for tonight, looking at my lord thinking christ that's expensive, realised battlescribe was adding 35pts for power armour :O

Unbelievable bad luck :D

First turn I shot my two plasma guns, rolled ones for both and 1 died. Second turn I had to make 3 3+ saves for my Thunderwolves, failed all 3 one died and the other two failed their leadership and fled 16". Then I failed to regroup and they ran off the battlefield. Ridiculous :D
 
Well I lost both, second was a bit closer though. Managed to get the Chaos Lord of cheapas**** down to 1 wound!

Not taking plasma guns again though, I had two of them and over two matches they killed one Chaos marine....and two grey hunters!
 
That guy could do 12 S6 AP2 attacks on the charge.

Sammael does 5 S4 AP2 attacks on the charge.

So you'd need 2 and a half Sammaels ( at a cost of 500pts) and he'd still be hitting at higher strength! I just can't believe we've got the rules right here. I've asked on DakkaDakka.
 
Well seems we have it right and the best thing to do is charge him with a dread (which not many bring) or just shoot the **** out of him. Seems almost unplayable at that point level tbh :(
 
It is stupidly OP for the points it cost, I will not bring it in 500pt games anymore. Its not that I enjoy 500pt matches just all I had time to prepare for today and I didn't want to be playing until 11pm.
