Tabletop Warhammer?

Just read up on the challenges rule (p64), looks like we did those wrong on Tuesday shami, I did not realise that if someone refuses a challenge then one model (chosen by the opponent) can't attack that turn. Makes much more sense as a rule now.

Cheers. I'm starting to make my own purity seals for marines. I'm currently using white paper stained with a used tea bag and cut it down but I think plasticard would be better. I drip wax onto the paper and cut into thin strips and dip a pencil tip into the wax then use a 0.5mm pen to write scriptures on.

Fancy a fight?

Not a bad buy for £25!

I have a question, say there is a challenge and you shift your characters in for a scrap. Afterwards do the troops who were part of that unit then fight, or does the challenge mean they dont fight each other at all. I play it that way, but you've made me think.

Challenges are fought at the same time as the combat at the respective initiative steps.

for example:

Squad A (I4) and Leader A (I5) fight Squad B (I5) and Leader B(I7)

Leader B attacks Leader A first, then Leader A and Squad B strike simultaneously, finally Squad A can attack Squad B

Ah much thanks, my general knowledge of 6th isnt fantastic, its more forgetting things tbh.

HELP!!!!

Right - I've been out of the painting game for 15 years. I looked out my old 40k stuff last summer, even had a couple of games with a mate for a laugh. However, it's time to sort out what I've got. Lots of models painted over a period of 6 years, the earlier ones really rubbish. So I want to strip the paint off them and get back into painting :)

Back in the day, it was nail varnish remover and a toothbrush. Have times moved on? Mostly metal models btw.
