Tabletop Warhammer?

Hate to admit it but I think I didn't stir the Macragge Blue enough hence the really dark colour I ended up with, one mini ball bearing in the pot of paint is not enough to get the paint really well mixed.

Oh well you learn by your mistakes I suppose ;)

Cheers All

I've really hit the wall now. I just cannot be bothered but at least they are in a presentable state for Saturday.
This one has so many mistakes on it and extra stages needed but then at the same time I think nobody gives a **** when it's on the table top and that is why I'm probably not going to bother edge highlighting except the top layers on stuff if that.
If it doesn't add any value from tabletop distance then I just don't see the point.

What superglue do people use? The normal stuff not plastic glue.

Just gorilla glue, I only really use it to glue magnets.

I buy the big bottles of ctek from toolstation and usually pick up some activator also to speed it up
No toolstations around here. I always seem to glue the lid onto the bottles and end up breaking the plastic nib :/ wonder if my best bet is just to buy the small squeeze tubes so I don’t waste as much.

@Noxia I like the skin on the banner. Looks like decaying flesh :)

Also freehand scares the hell out of me lol!!

Got my first premium box today from The magazine I thought I cancelled but I keep getting. It has a brutalis Dreadnought and a hive tyrant.

None of this stuff counts as pile of shame by the way because I wasn't ever going to collect it really.

Picking up the Brutal & Cunning add on box in the morning for Kill Team.

Cheers All
Mine came in the post yesterday, much bigger box than I expected. I really like that it comes with data cards for the kill teams, shame hivestorm didn’t come with them too. Might even have to pick them up for the aquilons.

£16 for a few cards is steep though but they do look useful.

First killteam game done, lost 11-9 And that was mainly my own fault because I would opt to try and shoot people rather than pick up objectives at times. It was a really fun game though, And I liked the alternative turns after each model activated, unlike waiting 30 minutes plus in a game of 40K for your opponent to do all their stuff and work out all the rolls.

Played against some space wolf killteam, forgot the name. This worked in my favour though because I had a rule that gave me a big benefit against Imperium and a further improvement against astarte's keyword models.

Picked up Brutal and Cunning this morning for Kill Team, my local hobby shop was closed yesterday due to staff sickness, its that time of the year I suppose.

Managed to get all of the Brutal and Cunning terrain primed black this morning, took delivery of The Ultimate 40k guide from Amazon yesterday for £26 reduced from £35, very good painting reference guide, nearly 400 pages in the book too.

I hope you all have a good Christmas break too :)
