Tabletop Warhammer?

When I am looking at Forge World website I am wondering what the Imperial Armour and how would you include some of these modles they make if you are having a game with one of their models

I would play the armies I have at home, just to I can use some tactics when I play my mate and brother

I have Chaos Space Marines & Tau, how many points are you playing? I am going to get it installed tonight

Well I would have thought it's best to start with something small (both to get to grips with Vassal and because I haven't played in ages :p) maybe 750/1000?

Ideally you two could play a game with me spectating so I could just refresh my memory, no idea if you can do that or not. I'll install it tonight and try and create an army list (I might try Grey Knights or Space Wolves I think)

I havent had a look into it like and I am starting to play after 8years but I have read most of the rule book its just the special rules and how indepth you want the game to be.

I dont have a local GW shop its about 20mils away, but I remember my dad used to take us there every week and we painted and learnt the game

If you mean which models you can use you normally need the Forgeworld book that unit is in, but of course there are ways to get that infomation of course.

Basically FW models fall into two categories Apocolyspe/Apoc or 40K.

Apoc models can only be used in Apoc games however some models have a 40K stamp meaning you can use them in a normal game.

Now some people are funny about poeple using FW models in a normal game, so you can either be friendly about it and ask if they mind, but as there are 40K rules technically they can not stop you from using them.

I do not really have a problem with it myself but I know others who don't like it.
