Tabletop Warhammer?

well I have not tried it myself yet, just read up about it because it sounded cool and would be pretty cool if the people in this thread could play each other :)

I plan on setting it up tonight or tomorrow night and giving it a whirl.

I will be doing the same, I would like to keep it as real as I can with what I have built at home, Just so I can use tactics at home in person with games I have with my friends - Which we dont play as much lol

Im trying to think of a second army to start so the thing above would be a good idea to try then.

I am stuck with a "good team" its between Imperial Guard or Tau lol

Hopefully this system lives up to our expectations :)

One post I read said its best to be on ts/skype/... when playing as its easier than typing, I do have a TS server people can use for games or we could just steam chat during the game. If anyone fancies organising a game add me on steam (lordhughes) or xfire (52ndflymo).

Tau OR Imperial Guard?

I want to do a good team but space marines are out because I have the Chaos :D

Arnt the Tau getting a upgrade?

yeah Tau it is! just need to plan how I want to build the army once I have finished with my Chaos We tend to only have a 500pt game so it gives us some varity in who we want to go out on the battlefield.

Well vassal is simple to install :) also observed some of a game.

Next step is to create some army lists and then organise for a game with someone :)

I will suggest that army lists are posted here before a game so others can see what we are playing, and that there are no glaring mistakes or people trying to sneak things in :P

From what I can tell the 6th edition version is still in the works or its been broken of and being worked on by people from the community. trying to figure out if a 6th edition version works.

I dont think there is anything that would prevent you playing 6th edition rules except for maybe a few stat changes and 6th edition units not being available.
