Taiwan and China thread.

Where were they before?
They were passing over during Trump's Presidency.
Why wouldn't China recall them
How do you recall a ballon driven by the wind?
If its spying, we know both sides play the same game and have been for decades why the publicity
Aerial spying is normally by satellite. In this case they infringed national airspace.

"Some of the F-22 Pilots who Tracked the Aircraft that was downed over Alaska yesterday said that it “Interfered with their Sensors" and that “They could see No Propulsion Systems on the Aircraft not knowing how it could possibly be staying in the Air”.
It would be peak 2023 to start a war with aliens after the last 3 years

Sounds like a Tic Tac though, interesting they've chosen to shoot them down this time, more interesting they managed to shoot down with sensor interference and it didn't manage to evade

I wonder if they'll release any images of these "objects" though, surely it shouldn't be classified if it's not their own ?

Same thing In ukraine, American chips are inside russian bombs, they are also in Iranian bombs

The US has no way to stop this without telling the FBI and CIA to pursue American companies snd put directors who sell chips to enemies behind bars for treason and currently they are not interested because America is overly cocky

What on earth are they actually shooting down. Surely ***** going down if these are foreign entities in their airspace.

Balloons, and I don't think the Gov are making as big a deal as they haven't shot them down in the past as far as I know. Question is, is shooting them down an overreaction? Are they Spy balloons, are they weather balloons and why were prior governments (both sides) not bothered by them. Not sure what changed.

Isn't most of the tech made in China anyway, on behalf of the US companies? The west is obsessed with cheap Chinese labour, If we thought our dependence on Russian oil and gas caused turmoil...
Just consumer electronic stuff, the chips aren't generally made in China so they do have means to prevent it with sanctions for companies that export chips to China, but it would mean consumer electronics no longer made in China, not sure how they would stop China completely from importing electronics and then just harvesting chips from them though, the US has already taken steps towards banning chips going to China though and I imagine with the filters altered for radar and the US seeing the scope of how much snooping China are doing with drones/balloons then they will likely take further steps in their economic war vs China
