Take Away curries, why do we never learn?

Most are ok, I wouldn’t order from manky frankies take away offering beef dishes like that though.

No, never. We had a takeaway curry this evening, I had chicken vindaloo, keema rice and a papadum. I won't be 'paying for it twice the next day'.

Pretty sure the stories of people having dodgy stomachs after a curry are generally accompanied by enough booze to knock Katie Price out.

I'll only eat a curry if I've not been on the sauce for ages as the two combined never ends well.

I do love a good curry though!

Never been unwell from:

Maccies
KFC
Indian
Kebab

Had a couple of dodgy experiences with Chinese and pizza though. In about 1995, my mum nearly died from food poisoning from a Chinese takeaway. Probably manky prawns.

how explict should i be?

semi bunged up and cramps..full of wind. contant sensation of having to poop but after going 4 times in 2 hours it overly dry back there.
The feeling of internal pressure and having to go to pee a thimble full every 15mins mins... never again.

Welcome to old age - it will only get worse.:cry:

only ever had one issue with a chilli kebab, next day was having chest pain twinges? like i now
know what feels like intesgestion. that was 25 years ago though, not had one since. gonna blame
the chilli sauce, cos it was super spicey and since then i know i do better with less spicey.

I consider myself to have an iron stomach but once got taken out by a well known chicken restaurant. It took me about a week to recover. OP sounds like they had it easy compared to the travesty that was my insides following that meal.

This, or they've ordered from a place with a food safety rating of "we'd shut it down but the rats ate the last enforcement officer we sent".

I've only ever had stomach issues from one takeaway and that was a domino's at an early Iseries event when the local franchise would shovel them out the front door as fast as possible to feed the 1000 odd gamers, and to be honest it's possible I got it from toilets or one of the other attendees (by the end of day 2 you needed biohazard gear to go near most of the loos).

I live near to a great curry take away. National curry award winner. I know it really well. To the point of being invited into the kitchen, tastings, getting free deliveries.

Did have 1/5 hygiene rating :)
