your skin would be far far too tender to get a whole sleeve in a week
it aint gonna happen mate, to get tattooed one day, then the next, then the next would be excruciating pain, seriously, its such a slow process tattooing takes absolutely ages fella.
It doesnt hurt that much! though it depends where and how thick skinned you are!I had my first and only one so far done going up my shoulder and along my trap (left side). Thats supposed to hurt like a b**** but it didnt! its lettering, so without having an experience with a thick tatto such as a portrait or sleeve i have no idea how it would feel, but i can only imagine! It certainly wasnt pain free though, just discomfort.
Some nice tats here, im all for originality, no point branding yourself with the same thing somebody else has. They should be, in my eyes, unique and original. Obviousley theres not enough tattoo's in the world for everyone to have different ones, but you get the jist! I'd post mine, but i dont want people to theive it or the idea!![]()
You sound like a pansy "oh no, the pain!"
Tbh, the only issue is money. Assuming I have enough cash I'll get it done in a week, or a touch over at the most.
I'll be sure to keep a blog.![]()
Ok, I'll look into the possibility of extending my trip then. Maybe I'll go for 6 weeks instead. Reckon two weeks would be enough for one sleeve then?
shamelessly stolen from a quick google search about full sleeves
Time Considerations:
Full sleeve tattoos are not done in one simple sitting and it will take multiple hour long sessions. Many full sleeve tattoo designs can take around 20 hours of work. They are often done in one hour blocks over multiple weeks and sometimes even months and up
in all seriousness id get the basics done like a few sittings for some outline work, but i seriously wouldnt try and aim for anything near a full sleeve honestly.
even that is a joke, ask a lot of tattoo artists about 20 hours of work for a sleeve and you will more than likely get laughed at.
Ok, well how long then? I can go for up to 3 months... But I want to get it done as quick as possible.

was just giving some reference![]()
the two main factors i reckon you need to look at is firstly booking someone as you cant have it done in 3 months if you have got someone to do itthen its the how long it will take for a full sleeve, not everyones skin heals in the same time so it would be difficult to give an exact amount of time
Ok, well the original plan was to go for a month in July, then return in December for three months.
I guess it would make sense to get the outline done on the first trip, then finish it off on the second.
