Put it this way i believe you could have waited and had a bit of respect for someones job and business.
I know your not alone in doing this and i'm sorry if it seems like i'm getting at you but i feel quiet strongly about it. I just think the law is in place for a reason, to stop kids getting tattoos.

shes right its hard enough stopping underage kids coming in to the parler it could ruin my boss if its not stopped

Whilst I agree with you completely, wouldn't I be right in saying you go out to places where you have to be 18 to get in? I could have course have got the wrong end of the stick, if so apologies.

Yeah you are right i do go out to pubs and such although it's unusual for me to drink. I'm usually on the diet coke, i go to the pub most weekends for a publunch with my boyfriend and his friends. I'm a hypocrite of sorts but i'm not trying to justify this i know its wrong. I just feel that a tattoo will be there for the rest of your life and can lead to problems in later life. My cousins girlfriend has a tattoo of winnie the pooh on the top of her arm which she got when she was 15 shes now 23 and hates it. It means she tries everything to cover it as it embarrasses her and does have a negitive effect on her life.
At 18 maybe people would be a bit more mature and get something they hopefully wont regret, this is one of the main reasons i'm against under 18's getting tattoos.

thats so nice, I was thinking of going for somthing like that

I am worried that its a bit common these days to have a tattoo like that, i certainly dont want mine to be as big as the one pictured, I would like it to just start in the middle of my shoulder and end about 2 inches above my elbow so I can keep it covered if I want to :)

Roll on my 18th :D

Got my name in Chinese on my lower back - I love it even though I can't really see it.
Wanting to get my star sign on my foot/ankle not sure exactly where though :)

When I got my tattoo I didnt just walk into the parlour and decide to have it done,There was some thought into it.I feel mature enough to decide what I would like to do.I respect you saying about the businesses in trouble etc.I thought the point of this forum was a person wanting ideas for their tattoo so i told them what mine were. :)

Ahhhh well.If you put it that way.I aint proud i broke the law but hey.I can't be upset about it.Im sure many people have done the same.Still doesn't make it right I know...

I hope you still like them when you're 40.
Fashions change, people change. It is one of the reasons the law wants you to be 18 or older - so that you are less likely to do things that you'll regret.

I love tattoos. I have none and needles don't bother me at all, I'm a blood donor lol.

I'll still love them when I'm 70.Hehe.One cute thing my mum does. She doesn't want to get a tatoo until she is too old to give blood.Having a tattoo only stops you giving blood for one year, she doesn't want to miss one year of giving blood. How cool!

I am like you, I love tattoo's and piercings, but haven't got round to getting my tattoo done yet. I hate needles which is probably why I am putting it off. It didn't help when rob showed me the magnum needle

You dont feel the needle really. It is painful/uncomfortable but you wouldnt think it was a needle. You can't feel it going in and out.It goes so fast.

When people ask me what it feels like, the only way I can describe it is a bearable pain :)

LOL. If you say so. You can tell how old someone is by their tattoos, to some extent where they came from as well.

Tattoos are the ultimate expression of youth and recklessness and are sad paraodies of what people used to be when they were young on old people.

Well that is my opinion :) They look great when you're young and sad when you're old. Then again I've got tattoo mags that are older than you :p

I'm going to be the most colourful and interesting old guy in my home.

And the only one still hitting on nurses.
