Team Group Dark Pro "8 Pack Edition" 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C14 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black

what is the performance gain for these sticks in games - 5-10fps?

Compared to what? Other 3200MHz memory? Pretty much nothing. Compared to 2133/2400? Can be quite a large difference, depends on the game. Some see a lot of improvement, others not so much. On heavily dependent games then you're looking at about a 10fps difference going from 2133 to 3200.

This is helpful. I have 3000 sticks, yet they are unstable above 2400  So, this is a noticeable gain, and the cost uplift is reasonable for the quality.

you have to pay premium for someone to hand test each and every stick and check for stability. It is like buying a bespoke suit, you may a premium; but in this case the extra is pitched about right.

It's special ic, special pcb and special spd all of which took time and resources to develop. Also as you point out binning is very strict. So these factors all contribute to a great product but also the slight premium.

1920x at stock in my gigabyte aorus x399 gaming 7 (F3d bios) with memory running xmp profile 1 failed hci memtest at 58.3%. Memory voltage is manually set at 1.35V just to be sure.

I've also tried upping CPU SOC to 1.2V and CPU SB SOC to 1V and dropped tRC back to 97 and it's still failed HCI at 60%. I've now dropped the memory back to 2800 and am running memtest again to see if it can pass.

SOLD! - it's actually not that much of a premium tbh - very competitively priced.
I hope its plug n play on a Ryzen system bud! - i'm getting too old for this tweaking stuff now lol

I tried this board not one issue for me. Post 175 of this thread for ss.

Maybe your cache or Imc on the Cpu is weak.

Try 1.45V mem.
1.125 soc.
And try different Procodt values around 60 Ohms.
Begun wondering whether the IMC might be average. Left it testing xmp timings at 2800MHz and so far it's past 150% ok.

Trying your settings for 3200. Cannot find an option for ProcODT in the bios.

Ok, 1.45V mem, 1.125V soc at 3200 xmp timings failed at 340%. Finally found ProcODT in the bios so I've now manually set it to 60 ohms and will try again.

Failed again running all sticks with the ProcODT changed to 60ohms. Pulled all but one stick in slot 2A and it tested fine. Will resume testing tomorrow.

Second stick seems fine. Not gone quite as far testing as I need to get another one going before getting off to work. Same settings as above in slot 2A again.
