There are 4 sticks in total which would run as quad channel.
3rd stick definitely good. Will test the last one now. If all 4 are good, I assume it's either the IMC as we suspect or a dodgy slot on the motherboard. I'll give slots 1A/B/C/D a go instead.
Remember Ryzen has dual channel controller so even four sticks only run in dual. Threadripper has quad so 4 sticks on that are running quad if all placed in the correct slots.
You can try higher timings or lower frequency exactly as you suggest. It's clearly an Imc issue this or cache limit.
Also these 8 pack sticks are going to be good for 3333 or even 3466 at 14-14-14-14-28 with tRC in the 40s if your chip can handle it at 1.4v DRAM. Probably do 14-13-13-13 at 3200.
Bizarrely, my board appears to have reset the memory back to 3200 at some point during my reinstall of windows 10 and it's proven rock solid since. I've dropped tRC to 52 and it seems stable but there has been no noticeable difference from doing so.
Yeah, I had a tinker last night. Mine didn't like 3333, but likewise, my 1700 won't go above 3.8. Very happy with the sticks however - they do exactly what it says on the tin, unlike other brands. Straight in at 3200, with ultra low CAS.
Specs in sig - really happy with this memory purchase.
DCOP on a Asus B350 STRIX board - no need to set anything else (latest bios)- works great and fully stable.
Got mine arriving today (Team Group Dark Pro "8Pack Edition" 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C14 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit) to replace my Team Group Vulcan T-Force 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-24000C16 3000MHz Dual Channel Kit which I couldn't get to post over 2666MHz.
Checked out your ASRock AB350 Pro4 stats so I should be able to get the new ram to run at 3200MHz @ 1.2v?
