Cpu oc is limited a touch by VRMs compared to higher end VRMs on X370 boards. But for the money it's a very solid option when gaining efficiency from 3200c14 mems. My sticks are always Samsung b die which are by far the best performing and most compatible on Ryzen. Other 3200 kits I can't gaurentee will run 3200 on any board.

@8 Pack , Whats the highest speed you've reached with your ram on x370 Crosshair board? have 16GB of your 3600hz kit and wondering a good ball park figure to aim for. will be mated with a 1700 so know that might limit me a bit

Depends a lot on your CPU above 3200mhz. 3333c14 should be easy. 3466C16 and 3600c16 really depend on CPU IMC and Cache quality as ofcourse on AMD you cant clock down the Cache via divider. Its always 1:1 with RAM speed.
